Whenever I enter an 'antique' shop the expression 'one man's junk is another man's treasure' comes to mind, I don't often buy anything these days but by golly I do enjoy looking. Take a closer look and see if there is anything that might interest you, I quite liked the green industrial ceiling lights above, would look good in the kitchen and also the green Aladdin shaped washing basket.. but I resisted :) Took these shots last week. I haven't left the house for the past three days but the snap lock down is over today so I will be out and about.. wearing a mask! Happy Tuesday, take care and stay safe..

I'd find something to my liking.
ReplyDelete...yep, trash or treasures, it's all a matter of point of view.
ReplyDeleteDifficult to resist buying something in shops like that.
ReplyDeleteAlways fun to wander through an "antique" shop. I seldom buy anything, but looking is fun. My house is already full of junk.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite kind of shop
ReplyDeleteI love these shops too, it's very hard to walk out with nothing.
ReplyDeleteI love these places but have so much stuff of my own already.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful shop! I love those kind of places!
ReplyDeleteDearest Grace,
ReplyDeleteThose have been for decades our favorite, just to stroll mostly but at times you found a treasure.
Nowadays, we're trying hard to downsize...
Hugs,
Mariette
I love a good antique shop.
ReplyDeleteI've seen those green lamps used in cafes. At times in such shops you wonder who would buy some of the items on offer, but I guess someone does.
ReplyDeleteI’d love to browse there. Wouldn’t buy anything though.
ReplyDeleteOh! Grace. This looks like Ingo´s room! "Horrible"!
ReplyDeleteNah, Ingo´s looks even worse. You might find old socks on the floor. đ€Ł
But he has nearly everything to fix any technical problem.
Why didn´t you go for the lamp?
Here still lockdown.
Yeh, could look for hours there!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, I'd be there for a long time, so much to see!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure I could find many things to appeal to me in a place like this. Good for you for resisting that basket. I might have had to fight the urge myself. It looks so cute.
ReplyDeleteSidenote, Wicker Chairs Burn So Well - I Would Collect A Bunch Of Busted Up Wicker Furniture And Then Set Them One By One On A Hot Bed Of Coals - They Turn Ghost White While They Burn And Hold Their Shape For The Longest Time - Always A Hit Around A Summer Time Bond Fire
ReplyDeleteCheers
I like the high-backed cane chairs...but I too have far too much furniture already!
ReplyDeleteInteresting place :-)
