A little break from the sculptures today to show a few scenes that caught my eye. The young man wearing the 'happy wanderer' tee shirt above and below was deep in thought as he looked out across the ocean before he and his faithful companion wandered off along the pier..
Below life imitating art :) Loved the symmetry between the man showering and the sculpture..
Hmmm! A sculpture or not.. sometimes it's hard to tell :)
There are always adorable dogs 💙
Aussie kids doing what Aussie kids love doing.. Cottesloe Surf Life Saving Club activities go on regardless..
... and then there was the osprey named Patronus by the locals. Patronus and partner have a nest nearby and this is their hunting ground. He had found a prime spot atop one of the sculptures along the pier to survey the scene, one can only imagine what he was thinking :) I'm off to Cottesloe this morning to meet fellow Perth blogger Sami and take pics of the many sculptures I missed on Sunday. Happy Friday, take care and stay safe..
See you tomorrow Grace :)
ReplyDelete...people sure are out and about!
ReplyDeleteAlways interesting activity along the shore. The Osprey is such a beautiful bird. The locals must be thrilled to have this pair nesting nearby. Have a great weekend, Grace, and tell Sami we also follow her blog.
ReplyDeleteNice images Grace.
ReplyDeleteA gorgeous bird, but I wouldn't be happy to be in the viewfinder of Patronus.
ReplyDeleteSo many great scenes here. Love this glimpse of life around the pier.
ReplyDeleteDearest Grace,
ReplyDeleteThose are happy and active looking photos of humans and critters alike!
Hugs,
Mariette
What A Wonderful Post - Well Done
ReplyDeleteCheers
The dogs are cuties. Patronus is formidable.
ReplyDeleteThings look 'normal' down there Grace! I don't think we will see normal for quite a while here.
ReplyDeleteWow that osprey is just wonderful, I would love to see one. They are around but not in our area. Keep well and hope the cough has gone. Diane
ReplyDeleteLots of action there, Grace. A lovely day to be out and about.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos
ReplyDeleteWe are pretty fortunate that we are able to be outside without being under lockdown really.
ReplyDeleteGreat random kind of streetshots. I like that.
ReplyDeleteLove the showering guy - have fun, the two of you, Grace!
ReplyDeleteA cuppa at the Indiana or is it closed?
It is so nice to see all the people enjoying themselves. It seems so long ago I have seen some art here.....
ReplyDeleteNice mix of photos.
ReplyDeleteOh my, such happiness and fun to absorb right there, and your critters are all adorable too. Outstanding captures of them living life one moment at a time!
