I don't think there is any flower that says hot like the sunflower! Snapped the two shots here just before we left the city yesterday. Despite, or most likely because of the heat the Urban Orchard in the Perth Cultural Centre is ablaze with sunflowers.. the quote 'a sunflower field is like a sky with a thousand suns' comes to mind. 36C for the next two days and we are well into the first month of autumn! Happy Friday, take care and stay safe..🌻
Sunflowers are really neat flowers. Unlike roses a person can eat the seeds.

ReplyDelete“Never look directly at the sun. Instead, look at the sunflower.” 🌻
ReplyDelete― Vera Nazarian,

ReplyDeleteDearest Grace,
ReplyDeleteThey are happy and sunny looking and turn to the sun; hence their name tournesol in French!
Hugs,

That is a warm temperature, and I'm sure the sunflowers like the sunshine and the heat. The birds will also like their seeds.
