When the peeling trunks of the Plane trees get wet in the rain they turn many shades of glorious green, I can't remember where I took the above shot on Monday as there are many plane tree lined streets in and around the city. Below along James Street in Northbridge. Even on holiday Monday Northbridge was busy, below the queue waiting outside Fortune Five, and by the size of that queue the pick up and take away dim sums must be pretty good! Looks like a few more rainy days ahead, I couldn't be more pleased :) Happy Wednesday, take care and stay safe..
Those tree trunks are quite beautiful. Nature's art 😊
ReplyDeleteThey are beautiful, and it just goes to show rain can make things new again!
ReplyDelete...the plane tree is art enough for me!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful and unique trees that display art by nature. Very cool!
ReplyDeleteI love the look of that bark and I also love the look of those wet streets. Enjoy that rain.

Beautiful,Grace. Wish we had cities like that in the States.
ReplyDeleteI've always liked Plane trees too, Grace. We have sunny but cold weather so I just got the car washed today!
ReplyDeleteThe colours on that tree are gorgeous. In fact, I loved so many of the trees that I saw in Australia and New Zealand. So different from the tree4s here in my neighbourhood. But of course, there are gorgeous too..... long live trees!
ReplyDeleteFine subtle colors in your rainy street photos. I am never sad to see rain. It brings life nourishing all the green plants.
ReplyDeleteWhat do you write? Rain? Wow! Maybe autumn has come ... LOL
ReplyDeletePlane trees, a bit of wet, lanterns and take away dim sum! HEAVEN, Grace!
ReplyDeleteI can’t remember ever having seen plane trees. Interesting!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful views!
ReplyDeleteLooks great
ReplyDeleteThe trees could easily join the army like that, Grace
ReplyDeleteOh, I bet Corinna laughs about me sending rain to you when we should be there. Enjoy big for me, too, please!
Beautiful trees but it is strange to see busy streets, ours have been so quiet now for the past year!! Keep well Diane
