Sitting in the cafe at Perth City Farm last week enjoying lunch and looking over to the murals painted on the wall of The Barn my first impression of the mural above was that of a flamboyant cockerel.. on closer inspection I can still see it but not with the same conviction :) what did you think at first glance? However interpreted it is a beautifully executed vibrant piece of art. Happy Tuesday, take care and stay safe..

It's quite vibrant Grace. I thought it was some sort of native animal but can't figure out what.
ReplyDelete...first impressions are lasting impressions and that is true here!
ReplyDeleteAnd a new word learned, Grace, "cockerel" 😁 🐓
ReplyDeleteNo idea, but if it was one it has some mighty muscular arms, like in the book I´m reading at the moment (bio on the cute Klitschko-Brothers).
Either way it´s a very beautiful, vibrant mural!
I don’t know what it is but it brightens the day.
ReplyDeleteThe way its body coils around it looks like a colorful dragon to me.
ReplyDeleteIt is definitely vibrant and beautiful. First glance I thought it was some kind of flowers with the animal crawling underneath it.
ReplyDeleteWhat a terrific mural you have documented here. Thank you for your kind comments on my posts.
ReplyDeleteI think I spotted the eyes first and then a friendly creature of some kind playing Hide and Seek! Nice one, Grace!
ReplyDeleteIt is definitely very beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThey have a wonderful guard!
Very colorful!
ReplyDeleteJust that one part in the high centre makes me think a cockerel.
ReplyDeleteI love the vibrant colors in this mural.
ReplyDeleteI first saw a brilliant sunrise but looking closer there is so much more to see. Very nice.
ReplyDeleteIts some kind of weird badger hiding under a huge flower that only blooms once every 75 years. I'm right aren't i?
ReplyDeleteFor me it looks like a kind of fantasy animal under an etherial flower but the colors are indeed stunning.
ReplyDeleteA mystical animal I think, fantasy of the artist perheps?
ReplyDeleteThe artist is very talented and uses color very well
ReplyDeleteDearest Grace,
ReplyDeleteA wild and bold colored one!
Hugs,
Mariette
I'm going to go way out there and say, Mama needs a break, and a little alone time! But that's after thinking about it a moment, because initially wow what a burst of color!
