Decorated for Valentine's Day, don't worry the greyhound above was not harmed in any way :) Life returned to new normal yesterday for West Australians, no more masks thank goodness! Masks in mid 30C heat are no fun. To celebrate Aimee and I went along to the Markets by the Sea at Whitford Nodes. So many adorable dogs I couldn't resist a snap or dozen..
The gorgeous spaniel below in her pretty bonnet was getting lots of attention. You might have guessed from all the bare legs that it was a hot humid day, despite being a stone's throw from the beach there was not much of a breeze around until much later in the day, just when I thought the temps were becoming more moderate, ah well it is still summer! Hope you had/are still having a good weekend, take care and stay safe..
Lots of canine cuteness.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a fun time except for the heat and humidity. I love those hearts on the greyhound.
ReplyDeletei know exactly what you mean about the masks and the heat. Last summer was awful having to wear them all the time.
...the things that people do to their dogs!
ReplyDeleteThat would be such fun. No shorts here although we are supposed to be going up to -4˚C this afternoon which is a lot better than it has been! ;-)
ReplyDeleteNothing better than lots of pups to photograph!

Dearest Grace,
ReplyDeleteGreat photos taken of several canines.
Hugs,
Mariette
Love seeing all those pups.
ReplyDeleteNow that's a sweet Valentine's celebration! They're all adorable. Happy your mask warning is off, but for us of course still on.
ReplyDeleteAh so fine to see! We will catch up with you presently, but today I will don my mask to go out. . . . Say! Look what is a South Africa native just like you, Dear!

I also really like dogs, so I enjoyed your photos from the dog event. I have only known one Greyhound. He was a rescue, ex-racing dog and had a very sweet nature. We got along great.
ReplyDeleteEveryone had a great day, the dogs but also the people!
ReplyDeleteThe dog with the hearts on its coat looks very elegant.
ReplyDeleteNo one should do that to such a noble beast as a greyhound! They look some rather hot dogs.
ReplyDeleteOh biy what a lot of dogs there around!
ReplyDeleteThose shows are always good for a photo opportunity, only trouble to decide which one to keep and which one can go. Thay are all lovely.
ReplyDeleteLindo, belos animais.
ReplyDeleteUm abraço e boa semana.

I envy you that heat, here it is warming up but still only 7C!! I hate the cold. Keep well and stay safe, Diane
ReplyDeleteSo nice
ReplyDeleteOh so many cute dogs! what a neat day
ReplyDeleteGlad you got rid of the masks!!!
ReplyDeleteI must say, though: In cold weather not fun, either (foggy glasses) - oh, let´s hope this madness is over soon!
Hmmm. Dogs. Hmmm. Friends always have to put them outside when I visit and I always feel so sorry!
