I did take a few shots on the first day of spring in Kings Park Botanical Gardens before the clouds burst and the dash for the car ensued. No wonder Kings Park is Perth's number one tourist attraction.. the views, the monuments, the botanical gardens, the trees. Next time I'm going to find myself a spot and take pics of people taking selfies around the park :)
Walking through the Geraldton Wax garden after the rain was magical, each long branch dripping with 💧 and the perfume.. like honey. It's a little hard to translate in photo form, but believe me it was niiiice ..
This might be my favourite spur of the moment shot that day. The gentleman photographer below in his Driza-Bone coat and slouch hat was way more prepared than I for the inclement weather :) Happy Thursday, take care and stay safe..
Lovely flowers!
ReplyDeleteI have a coat like that.
I wonder was anyone taking your photo as you took his, Grace? That would be a great photo too.
ReplyDeleteLike honey! Yes, photographing visitors is our s special field of play isn't it?
ReplyDeleteThere is just something about flowers with raindrops on them that is quite beautiful. Well, now that I think about it, everything with raindrops on it is something special to see. I love those cute little kids in their colorful macs.
ReplyDeleteThe raindrops add beauty to those lovely flowers. I like the wall in the last photo, it's beautiful.

Oh, wait, still too cold, right... a dilemma...
Great header and it is always a joy to photograph droplets on leafs especially when they come out crisp and clear as on your photo's.
ReplyDeleteLove the kids in their bright wellies and raincoats. The flowers with the rain droplets look so pretty :)
