Following Aimee as she disappeared around each corner ahead of me felt a little like an Alice in Wonderland moment :) Araluen Botanic Park is indeed a wonderland in whichever season you visit. Right now alive with multi-coloured spring flowers.. in summer the massed beds of agapanthus and warm weather blooms kick in. In autumn the many trees in the park glow in their oranges and reds 🍂 must get back there for that shot.. in winter those same trees look magical as they shed their leaves. One more post from the park, saved for Weekend Reflections. Happy Friday, take care and stay safe..
A magical place!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great park. Good to spend time there, especially during tulip season. BTW, flooding this time of year is most unusual. Usually August and September are dry months, but not this year. Hate to think what snow might come this winter.
ReplyDeleteEspecially find butterfly shot!
ReplyDelete...it looks great at this time of year, let's return again!
ReplyDeleteEin schöner Park zu dieser Jahreszeit mit vielen Blüten.

It is good to see so many people out enjoying the spring beauty at the park, Grace!
ReplyDeleteSo nice to see people out enjoying that lovely park!
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful garden. Nice Monarch. I've been doing a bit of Monarch imaging lately also.
ReplyDeleteEnjoying a gorgeous day exploring the park.
ReplyDeleteThe gardens look incredible. Beautifully photographed. My granddaughter would love it here!!
ReplyDeleteNothing beats a walk in a beautiful garden. Last night I watched the last episode (once again) of Monty Don's Italian Gardens on Netflix. He visited several gardens that I just saw in Italy including the one I just posted about on my travel site. And, he even visited one that I had visited on my very first trip to Italy. It was so much fun to see those places once again and pretend I was walking along with him. We are supposed to get a bit of a cool down this weekend so (fingers crossed) I can get out the garden here once again.
ReplyDeleteI too enjoy Monty Don and all his gardens, he is very entertaining and I love the way he always has that umbrella with him.
DeleteJust gorgeous! Oh I envy your spring, Grace!
ReplyDeleteThe series of waterfalls are very nice.
ReplyDeleteBeautifully captured Grace.
ReplyDeleteI´d like to come over, Grace! Though warm temps expected this weekend, too.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures, especially the butterfly!
Magnifico este belo parque, aproveito para desejar um bom fim-de-semana.

This post is a real celebration of spring. I love the disappearing Aimee in your first shot but everything is beautiful -- and you did a great job with those butterfly shots.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a delightful place!
ReplyDeleteI really like the last shot!
ReplyDeleteMother and child !!! :) & ;)
Wow, what a fantastic place.
ReplyDeletePublic parks and gardens are such special places. I am always grateful to the people who laid them out and planted the trees so many years ago. And for the people who tend to their beauty today.
ReplyDeleteSearchin'for the white rabbit...:) ew
