An early morning view this way and that while standing on a bridge across the Wooroloo Brook. What are you up to this weekend? It's a long weekend here in WA, Monday being a holiday for the Queen's birthday.. I'm guessing there will be a hike scheduled for either Sunday or Monday morning :) Happy weekend, take care and stay safe..
I'm hoping to go to an antique show, wash my car, relax, eat well, and just enjoy the weekend. It is supposed to be a bit cool here on Sunday!
ReplyDeleteI rarely cross a bridge without feeling compelled to take a snap (or two!). I was surprised to see that you have a holiday for the Queen's birthday in September - and even more surprised when I Googled it and found she has different birthdays in many Commonwealth countries - no wonder she's so old!
ReplyDelete...calm comes to mind.
ReplyDeleteA peaceful scene!
ReplyDeleteWonderful reflections. Happy weekend Diane
ReplyDeleteHope you have a fine time enjoying your hike on your long weekend. Spring is always a great time of year to be outside.
ReplyDeleteAnd what a pretty view!
ReplyDeleteA hike sounds wonderful.
ReplyDeleteIt looks wild and beautiful. Pretty reflections, too. Have a great (long) weekend!
ReplyDeleteSo strange to hear you have a Queen so far away, at least she gives you holidays!
ReplyDeleteBelas fotografias e aproveito para desejar um bom fim-de semana.

I remember Queen´s Birthday 1995.
ReplyDeleteWe had near to no food left and came to Carnarvon. The parking lot at...? Was it Woolies? was empty. There were no smart phones back then, we had no idea it was a public holiday.
We watched "the parade", LOL, most people living there were IN it!!
You just gave me a biiiig grin, thank you and enjoy the holiday. Have something yummy to east for us, too, please xox
Very nice reflections!
ReplyDeleteWater is always so restful. Next weekend is our long weekend but it's not Queen's Birthday, it's labour day, 8 hour day or some such thing - more generally known as the October Long Weekend.
ReplyDeleteAh, places like this bring words to mind. They just seem to spring out of nowhere!
