Yesterday I gave a little peek into the wonder that is the Florence Community Park. You may have glimpsed the colourful walls in the background.. walls covered in the most delightful characters. It's worth embiggening the collage below. The Carnaby's Black Cockatoo, endemic to the south-west of WA, now on the Australian threatened species list due to large scale clearing of land for farming, are always welcome to feast on my bottle-brush tree when in flower, as it is now.. it's the least I can do for these amazing birds.
