'Sorry for the inconvenience'
If Rome was built in a day
we would have used the same contractor..
I've been having a few problems with my computer lately.. just as I am ready to press schedule.. *poof* it all disappears. I have a few more beach shots but will have to try again tomorrow. Every time I go into the city these days I notice more construction work going on, is it the same for you? I know progress is an ongoing endeavour but sometimes it would be nice to see see everything neat, tidy and finished :) Happy Friday, take care and stay safe..
Work never ends. One project leads to the next.
ReplyDeleteThe roos don't seem to care for it.
It appears that it’s the same the world over, PDP. Everthing is in a constant state of repair.
ReplyDeleteI've had some problems in commenting.
ReplyDeleteHave a good weekend, Grace!
Perth seems to be in a construction boom, there's cranes everywhere, new buildings popping up all over the suburbs and lots of road works too...
ReplyDeleteHope your computer problems get resolved soon Grace.
It was download tuesday yesterday for microsoft. Maybe some refinements will come today? Wishing you the best dear. what would we do without YOU< G!!??
ReplyDeleteOh my, it is unsettling to see so much construction, I feel. Sorry about your computer problems, Grace. I hope they're resolved soon. Have a great day. Jo
ReplyDeleteThere is construction here everywhere and it is so disruptive!
ReplyDeleteHope you get your internet/computer problems solved! ;-)
Interesting post. We have been without WiFi and than yesterday when my computer updated it decided that it did not know who I was and lost all my personalised info!!! Great fun. How's the cough? Take care Diane
ReplyDeleteDon't come to Melbourne then. I think the city is being completely rebuilt.
ReplyDeleteI guess in the big cities, you will always have some kind of construction going on. Change is constant and aggravating at times but all you can do is cope and take photos. :)
ReplyDelete...if you think that they are taking a long time, come to Maui and see work in slowmotion.
ReplyDeleteSorry about your computer issues, hopefully it will correct itself. I've had that issue when using my cell phone with Blogger, but thankfully when I pull it up my computer it's still there! This statue is wonderful, and the building in the background has really caught my attention too!
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to more sea pictures. I hope everything's better with your computer. Have a good weekend
ReplyDeleteyes, I know what you mean. For me the hard part is not being able to see it until it's finished.
ReplyDeleteOur construction season does not begin for another month, but know what your mean about the disruption. Love the fabric on the pole that the roos seem to be watching.
ReplyDeleteSomehow "progress" has come to mean tearing down the old and replacing it with the new even when the new is the personification of "stink." Quality too often comes before quantity.
ReplyDeleteHope your computer ok soon.
ReplyDeleteNice pic. Happy Weekend.
It is annoying, agreed, Grace. But at least it´s always something different. Here they´re working on one of the main roads through town since two years, not even kidding! On many days the sites are empty. No one working...
ReplyDeleteHope your PC doesn´t become one of them!
ah, the infamous computer problems. They were never made to last. And if you run windows.....LINUX RULES!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your computer.
I agree with you, all those construction works in streets and removing trees! I hat it.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, I've had that same feeling. The construction seems constant these days.
ReplyDeleteHere in Toronto area there are 2 distinct seasons.... winter and construction, and sometimes they don't even stop for winter.
ReplyDeleteClassic
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about the construction Grace. It seems to never end!
ReplyDeleteThere is always some kind of construction/building work going on.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely weekend, and hope the computer problems are sorted soon.
All the best Jan
Computers are great! Right up until they stop working right, or at all.
ReplyDeleteYes, in my town they are not only building everywhere, but streets and highways are being worked for on too.
ReplyDeleteI have been enjoying the size of the beautiful pictures on your blog. I even though I have been around for a long time can't seem to master getting mine that large...I would also need to use a better camera.
It appears that nowhere in the world, except for some rural and remote areas, is there peace and quiet and a lag in construction. It used to be in the northern areas of this country the pace slowed a bit during the winter, but that doesn't seem to be the case any more; building continues apace...aargh!
ReplyDeleteI would also need to use a better camera.ทางเข้า D2BET
