We have many incroyably talented artists in Perth, one of which is Melski Mcvee. You have seen her work here many times but if you have a minute click here and scroll down, I promise it will make you happy :) Above and below seen on The Best Brew Bar & Kitchen on Wellington Street. Mel's work is largely community orientated, have a look at the short video here of a community project in Northbridge.. so much participatory fun being had. I must keep my eyes open to see if she has a project happening when my two 'arty' grandchildren are here, they would love to join in I'm sure. Hope you had/are having a good weekend, happy Monday, take care and stay safe..
Fantastic and thanks for the link. Take care, hope the cough is improving. Cheers Diane
ReplyDelete...wonderful and the reflection is a great capture!
ReplyDeleteThe large part of the mural with the fave is so nice, so beautiful, so colorful, so charming and enchanting...I'm sure it works well to draw people into the restaurant! And the reflection is perfection! What great light. Thanks too, for your nice comment on Ocala. I'll pass your words on to the owner of the legsl

ReplyDeleteHi Grace! Thanks for your comment on Ocala, on the yellow cab. I have to tell you, though, there were no puddles and this is a photoshopped picture. The whole reflection has been photoshopped. Which is why, these days, you can't always believe what you see. And that's not a good thing. I love to play around with photos like this, especially when they are not hurtful to anyone. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's awesome, I love the colours he uses. Just by chance I found a Melski mural yesterday not too far from Fremantle :)
ReplyDeleteThe first shot is fantastic, Grace !
ReplyDeleteYou have created a "new" mural with that reflection !
Such beautiful artwork, and your capture of it really makes it stand out!
