'Happiness is a long walk with a putter'.. Greg Norman.
I'll agree re the long walk but will swap the putter for a camera :) I don't 'play' golf but P does and enjoys it.. a lot! Yesterday, sitting in the clubhouse with a coffee and not really having anything prepared for the March CDP theme I whipped out my long lens as the gentlemen here were approaching the green to putt. That ball stopped about an inch from the hole.. such fun! Then there's the handshakes all round whether you've had a great, a passable or a shocker of a game, tres civilized oui. The coffee was good :)
Now the two adorable golfers below packing away their golf clubs and moving in for the obligatory handshake.. I could watch them for hours :) Looking forward to seeing how others have interpreted this theme. Summer is over.. it is officially the beginning of autumn today, hallelujah! Happy Thursday, take care and stay safe..
A good take on the theme, Grace! I tend to agree with the saying that golf is a good walk wasted.
ReplyDeleteI see the grandkids are already following in grandpa's footsteps playing golf. Can't imagine playing golf, too boring and slow for me, but who knows I might one day change my mind.
ReplyDelete...the last ones is my idea of play!
ReplyDeleteGood for theme day.
ReplyDeletePerfect for the theme!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness I didn't even think of golf and I live right next door to a golf course. Great idea! The added shots of the young golfers is just perfect. They are learning the ropes, as they say!
ReplyDeleteI just finished a round of golf and it was great fun! You had a nice vantage point for these photos.
ReplyDeleteThe children are adorable!
ReplyDeleteI've never understood why anyone plays golf, but....
ReplyDeleteIf I golfed I would be swearing a lot! ;-))
ReplyDeletePerfect photos for the theme, Grace. Children know how to play and they play well. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat you had your camera with you to seize this opportunity for Theme Day Grace.
ReplyDeleteIt is suggested that Mark Twain referred to golf as 'A good walk spoiled'.
ReplyDeleteSee, I'd have more fun playing golf with the kiddos! I have golfed, but really all it's good for is a great walk, unless it's mini-golf then I can get excited!
ReplyDeleteI think that you did a great job with the theme. I do play golf and enjoy it. SAw Greg Norman play at our club back when I lived in Houston. He is kinda cute 😊
ReplyDeleteI´d take a camera, too (and hope Ingo forgot about golfing come finally spring/summer).
ReplyDeleteThe kiddos are very cute - and also civilized :-)
Beautiful pics
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute photos of the big and small golfplayers. The kids will be great golfers later on I am sure!
ReplyDeleteGosto das ultimas fotografias.
ReplyDeleteUm abraço e continuação de boa semana.

Frankly, I'd rather be playing with the two in the last photos.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Stuart. I'll play with those little tykes any day. Cute take on the theme.
ReplyDeleteI would rather golf with the kids. It's an interesting sport but one that never intrigued me after a few attempts. Excellent photos of the golfers.
ReplyDeleteNeither of us plays golf, in fact we are both pretty useless at any ball game. Tennis is just laughable, I hated hockey, played squash, but was useless, and netball I could ply shooter as I was the tallest in our class, but any other position I just fell over!! Cheers Diane
