It's the only way to describe Fremantle.. fabulous! The city of art and quirk :) Every time we go there we come across something we haven't seen before. As we did yesterday while walking through Paddy Troy Mall. A bicycle shelter made from old bike frames and a sea container complete with artwork by Ian Mutch last seen on the blog here. Appropriately directly opposite bicycle shop extraordinaire Captain Walker's Bicycles, check the link if you are a bike enthusiast. As you can see it was a grey day, my favourite kind :) Happy Friday, take care and stay safe..
What a cool sight!

Very quirky, I think I have this photo of the bike shed in my blog from a few years ago, can't remember it having 3 colours though.
ReplyDeleteLove the bike shelter; the artwork could have been inspired by the way the students in Cambridge leave their bikes outside the lecture theatre. Capt Walker appears to have a fabulous emporium for the pedal-bicyclist.
ReplyDeleteLove the use of old bicycle parts to create art. Looks terrific. Great find.
ReplyDeleteSuch a unique and creative recycling of old bikes! Love it!
ReplyDeleteVery cool, Grace! And I guess fish do ride bikes!
ReplyDeleteFun and funky. And I don't see a snake anywhere. Seriously, it's great to see such artsy creativity.
ReplyDelete...how cool. there is a long fence locally made of bike parts!
ReplyDeleteAmazing what one can do with a few old bikes :-) Amazing and I love it. Bonne journée, Diane
ReplyDeleteThat looks like an extremely old wall in the last photo. It is good that the local council allows such artistic installations.
ReplyDeleteVery creative, I love it!

Our bikes are in the cellar, somehow these days I prefer to walk...
