What's this... a mural two days in a row! Sorry I couldn't resist. I was in Maylands, one of Perth's older riverside suburbs yesterday visiting mon ami français Marie when I spotted the giraffes on busy Eighth St. The bold colouful work of Anya Brock has featured here many times.. the munching ruminants are a delight to behold, j'adore and couldn't wait until next week to show you, patience has never been one of my virtues :) Happy Tuesday, take care and stay safe.. p.s. not sure if I can link twice to Monday Murals but will give it a try..
Colourful and fun! I really like this one, Grace!

ReplyDeleteLovely to see this!
ReplyDeleteIt looks best when partially obscured by the tree.
ReplyDeleteHungry giraffes! By the third shot they appear to have eaten a whole tree.
ReplyDeleteI like how you caught the tree for them, Grace! ;-)
ReplyDeleteInteresting how the tree is at munching height.

ReplyDeleteIt really seems as if the two are happily munching away on that tree. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI love it and would be delighted to pass it everyday if it was on the side of a building here!
ReplyDeleteLove the first shot with the tree leaves. Looks like they are ready for breakfest. Very nice.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great mural. Wow that tree sure grew up there quickly. Perhaps the giraffes are not eating it fast enough.

This makes me smile Grace. Such a great mural. I am puzzled though. What happened to the tree in the last photograph. Did they eat it?
ReplyDeleteThey are beautiful, Grace, beautiful and lovely !
ReplyDeleteAnother Mural, you have so many lovely ones. This one is very cute!
ReplyDeleteOh that's so beautiful Grace. I love Anya Brock's trademark colours and all her murals are so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great subject for that space. And I like the whimsy of painting them with a bit of blue.

ReplyDeleteAdorable,Grace, so sweet! Esp with the trees :-)
ReplyDeleteThis is one of the best murals you've featured, Grace!
ReplyDeleteHi again! Thanks for your comment on the gator. I get a kick out of how you sometimes use British expressions (Blimey) and other times you use French phrases! :))
ReplyDeleteThis is very good and quite surprising!
ReplyDeleteI adore these giraffes, and the jacarandas are absolutely gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteQuirky, fun and awesome. In the first photos, it looks like the giraffes are snaking on the trees!
ReplyDeleteI don't thnik that I have ever seen giraffes featured in a mural before. These guys look quite grand.
