Somewhere over the rainbow...PDP gets high!

I feel a massive sense of achievement each time I step out onto the viewing platform at the top of the Bell Tower, especially as it's a grated floor that you can see through to the ground waaay down below! There are a set of bells on the platform that play different melodies if you put a coin in, as I gingerly stepped out onto.. the ledge of hell :) clutching the rail the bells pealed out 'somewhere over the rainbow..' not sure why but the irony of it made me laugh hysterically out loud! Anyone out there as 'feardy' as moi? Here's to a safe and happy weekend, take care...p.s. reflection of moi to show that I'm not telling fibs:)

  10. It took me awhile to find you in there. That's the way it should be (not just in photos). Anyway, it's a magnificent shot. As I love being in high places, I would have loved love to have been there too.

  15. I get more and more fears for heights, should it have to do with aging? And a see through floor I feel my knees getting weak....Dare devil you are, all for blogging!

  18. There can't be many people who venture all the way up there just to take a picture of their own reflection. I'm hoping you were brave enough to take one or two pictures of the view too.

  23. Being up there on a grated floor? No fear. Being 25 feet or so up on a ladder? FEAR. Funny.

  25. Oh my, you are a brave one. I did step out on to the glass floor of the CN Tower in Toronto once and I know how much courage that takes. I love the photo with all the reflections and the skyline in the background. Very nice!
