Caterpillar: By the way, I have a few more helpful hints. One side will make you grow taller...
Alice: One side of what?
Caterpillar ...and the other side will make you grow shorter.
Alice: The other side of what?
Caterpillar:THE MUSHROOM, OF COURSE!
Mural inspired by Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland on the wall of Vintage in Wonderland in Westgate Mall Fremantle. Created during Public2015 by Perth based artist Paul Deej who's work you have seen before here. Just noticed the black swan, official state emblem of WA on Alice's necklace, très cool.. Happy Monday take care and stay safe..
Oh, I do love these!! So colorful and fun!! Have a good new week, Grace, my thoughts are with you.
ReplyDeleteThought it was Alice in Wonderand. Really good mural and I loke the catapiller
ReplyDeleteBeautiful mural with bright colors! Have a nice week!
ReplyDeleteHe's an excellent artist. Are there any blank walls left in Perth?
ReplyDeleteI love it but, I must say that is the sexiest Alice I've ever seen.
ReplyDeleteJohn beat me to the question: really, ARE there any blank walls in Perth?
ReplyDeleteThis is going to be one for my favourites!
ReplyDeleteThe mural capital of the world. Excellent art work.
ReplyDeleteI always though Alice was about 12 years old. She looks much older to me in this mural. Still, when I saw the mural I knew immediately that it was Alice.
ReplyDeleteSo clever. WA probably is the mural capital by population.
ReplyDeleteLove the caterpillar!
ReplyDeleteDelightful post.
ReplyDeleteI'm always amazed at all the fine murals you find.
ReplyDeleteFantastic artwork ,really excellent, you have so much talent there...
ReplyDeleteThat is cool! I love it, Grace! That is one stoned caterpillar!!
ReplyDeleteA fine mural. Who knew Alice dwelled in Perth?
ReplyDeleteA nice depiction of Alice. She's looking a little less innocent than I remember her! ;-)
ReplyDeleteGosh these murals are good Grace. I hope the artist is well rewarded. It really brightens up the street.
ReplyDeleteVery nice mural of Alice although she looks a bit photoshopped.
ReplyDeleteThat is very tempting Alice....

ReplyDeleteLove it, Grace, so rich in detail and with the swan.
ReplyDeleteWow, these are rare beautiful murals, Grace ! Excellent work !
ReplyDeleteAlice looks quite calm considering she's spending the whole story having a drug trip nightmare.
ReplyDeleteWay cool!
ReplyDeleteHave a Great Week!
Peace :)
Wonderful art well captured!!
ReplyDeleteAnother fabulous mural from WA.
ReplyDeleteCreative, well done and eye-catching! One of the best I have seen lately!
ReplyDeleteIt's a beautiful mural, I hadn't noticed the swan either until you pointed it out.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful mural, Alice is exquisite.
ReplyDeleteI was so sorry to read your “human factor” post, no words can express the sorrow on hearing of two children losing their mother.
Alice is looking all grown up! Excellent artwork, a master painter at work here!
ReplyDeleteThis Alice looks like she's channeling her inner Lolita. But I see the appeal of the composition. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
ReplyDeleteThat's what I call top graffiti.
