Although our official winter period is June, July and August it's usually mid July before the colder weather really sets in.. that's if you call day time tops of 17/19C cold :) There's something intensely appealing after a long stressful day to sit somewhere cosy and warm and watch the rain pounding down on the pavement outside. We took time out on Thursday evening to celebrated P's birthday with ginormous banana sundaes at San Churro, the perfect comfort food.. recognize the redhead below :) Thank you so much for bearing with me through this time, although things will never be quite the same for our family, life continues to move forward.
