It was good to get into the city yesterday, it's been a while! My very favourite place to have that early morning coffee (and sometimes decadently wicked cake) is Bocelli's Espresso, three times winner of Perth's best coffee. Right in the heart of the city in Forrest Place Bocelli's is the perfect spot to people watch, see what's going on in the town square and best of all and most important, the coffee is excellent... can't get a better review than that oui! Wouldn't that make an excellent theme day post.. 'your favourite place to have coffee' :) Where's yours? Happy Thursday, take care and stay safe...
First blog of the morning - how appropriate!
ReplyDeleteI don't drink coffee, Grace! We could include tea in the theme though. ;-))
ReplyDeleteRight name ;) Arianna
ReplyDeleteAh, does look like my kind of place!! Wish I were there right now enjoying a cup with you!! Hope your week is going well!!
ReplyDeleteI'm not a coffee drinker, either...but I'm sure I'd find something to my liking there!
ReplyDeleteAdd me to the non-coffee drinkers...
ReplyDeleteEver since we got our Nespresso machine, my favorite place for coffee is chez nous. Of course, the people watching is limited to one person.
ReplyDeleteMine is Malmen's Konditori in Handen. I'm there most every day during the cycling season. It has changed owners a few times over the last couple of years but the coffee is always good and if you pay 20SEK you can drink as much as you want. I have published nearly 200 photos from that cafe in my flickr stream.
ReplyDeleteI don't drink coffee... I'd rather have tea, with an obscene amount of sugar!
ReplyDeleteAfter travelling and not having a half decent cup of coffee for a month, I really appreciate Australia's coffee and Bocelli's sounds like a fine place and if it meets with your approval, what else is there to say.
ReplyDeleteSorry to say so, but I absolutely despise coffee. Don't know why. Must be irrational considering how many that do. Never touch the stuff myself. :-)
ReplyDeleteMy favourite coffee is served early and strong in the morning at MY HOUSE. Two cups and then I don't need any more until the next day. :))
ReplyDeleteGreat to find a really good coffee shop, I like the second picture of the person studying the cakes..
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great place. Since I don't drink coffee, I'd come up short on that theme.
ReplyDeletePerfect place for a coffee and some morning typing.
ReplyDeleteYou can count me in as a big coffee drinker, even on a hot day! Seriously. I like my coffee real, pure and nothing added, just plain old coffee! My daughter had her first cup at age 2 (from my mother another coffee hound) mostly milk in it but she's been drinking it ever since. Just black nothing added either!
ReplyDeleteIt looks and sounds perfect, especially if the coffee is so good. I like the style of the place. I like a place where the coffee is consistent. Either Elliots or Lido in Prestwick (same owners) serve superb coffee and are our favourites.

ReplyDeleteNow I know where to go...
ReplyDeleteThe name sounds Italian...?
It looks a perfect place to have a nice coffee. I must admit I just like plain black coffee, without all the different addings to it.....
ReplyDeleteHow the rich live.....
ReplyDeleteI didn't know they had such great coffee, but then I also don't drink coffee...just tea or hot chocolate in winter. I assume the pastries would be great too.
ReplyDeleteWell, I don´t drink coffee, either, Grace - but I just read it´s healthy actually. Maybe I should give it a go again...
ReplyDeleteLove the place: I hope they makes coffee better than the 'famous' Bocelli sings...
ReplyDeleteJava, the morning paper, a warm spot with time on my hands. Perfect. This place would fit the bill, nicely.
ReplyDeleteThe ambiance seems to be great too!
ReplyDeleteThis place would definitely work for me. In Naples, there is a big Starbucks very close to where I live, with plenty of tables and chairs inside and out. I am there quite often. The choices aren't as good in Hartford, so I move around.
ReplyDeleteI love open air cafes and this one would suit me just fine Grace.
ReplyDeleteI could pass the time away drinking coffee and people watching at this place.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a perfect Italian coffee place! I would be tempted too.
ReplyDeleteThat coffee place has a most appealing decor. I would definitely be drawn into a taste experience.
