How cool was that.. a parking spot right in front of the cafe! Only kidding, that's not really my snazzy sports car parked out there on Beaufort Street but I tell you what, when the owner did appear and jump into his car I was so close, I would have loooved to have been confident enough to call out to him and take a shot.. let's just say this sporty vehicle suited it's flamboyant owner parfaitement! In Mt. Lawley on a mission we passed Dogman and Rabbit Girl all decked out in scarves, WA's two main footy team scarves, and I thought it was just because it was getting cold :) the Fremantle Dockers are top of the league and the West Coast Eagles are 4th I think, only half way through the season though! Hope you're having a super weekend, happy Sunday, Take care and stay safe..
Such a funny sculpture! :-)
ReplyDeleteLove that sculpture, Grace! It is raining and cool here - 16˚C on June 27!! That's crazy.
ReplyDeleteDogman is very cool.
ReplyDeleteDogman and Rabbit Girl bring a smile out, Grace!
ReplyDeleteI'm rather partial to the sporty car too. And the sculpture is such a fun addition to the streetscape.Love it, even though I'm not really a footy fan.
ReplyDeleteIt mustn't be too cold if Mr. Snazzy car can ride around with the top down!
ReplyDeleteLove both these pictures Grace, the sculpture with the footy scarves is very funny, well spotted...
ReplyDeleteI want that sculpture for my front yard! It would drive the neighbors crazy! What a hoot!
ReplyDeleteMust be nice to be able to enjoy a convertible in the middle of winter. :-)
ReplyDeleteGlad to see hare and hound are friends at last!
ReplyDeleteLove your happy vibe today, Grace :)

In spite of the sun there was a nippy wind, I would have wanted more than scarves on!!! Cool car.
ReplyDeleteInteresting sculpture.
ReplyDeleteI would have liked to see the owner - my mind boggles. I quite like that "tall" chair in the last shot too. The animal sculpture is very cool.

ReplyDeleteI liked the sculpture.... made me smile:)
You made me laugh, I would have loved to see the driver of the car, but the dog with his passenger will do for me too.
ReplyDeleteLove the sculpture! (I know people who'd try to put clothes on it....)
ReplyDeleteFunny that the sculpture was decked out in scarves with Perth's footy colours.
ReplyDeleteLoved the perspective in the 1st pic!!
ReplyDeleteRe your comment on my post, yes there is one more dome and the other one is the entrance. Shall be posting pictures as we go.
I love it when art is added to art, as long as it isn't vandalism!

I bet it's warmer there than it is here, Grace. We might need that scarf more than the sculpture does. :))
ReplyDeleteLove that sculpture!
ReplyDeleteFunny, Grace, those are also the colors of the Braunschweig soccer team.
ReplyDeleteThe couple on the bicycle have a certain panache, n'est-ce pas?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sporty car!
ReplyDeleteI'd be excited to have a sculpture like that in my own yard!
