La pluie.. at last!

As they say in the movies... two minutes earlier Lil and Lol were strolling along the pier, stopping occasionally to take a scenic selfie.. catching a glimpse of the sky behind them they realized they had roughly 60 seconds to sprint back to their car before la pluie raged down from the skies upon them.. I would like to have seen that selfie :) It was fun watching them while sitting cosily in San Churros at Hillarys Boat Harbour. Looks like a stormy weekend ahead in Perth, j'adore! Think of me working my way through the ten films français I purchased last week for a mere $20. What are you up to this weekend? Enjoy and stay safe.. p.s. had a bit of fun with the first shot :)

  1. Quite nice that first shot! Yes, rain, wind, more rain...
We wanted to work in the garden, so much to do, but not with rain. Will probably prepare food to freeze.

  2. Oh, yes! Great shots as always, Grace!! Do stay warm and dry this weekend!! Here in Portland we are continuing to have such wonderful early Spring weather!! Don't remember when it has been this mild, this early!! More like summer than spring, but I'm not complaining!!!

  16. Reminds me of a similar scene a life time ago when Lil and Lol were walking along the Banks of The Thames. Lol was keen to make it to Tower Bridge as Lil had never seen it before. Blue sky turned to grey, day turned to night, drizzle turned to rain but hand in hand Lil and Lol did not feel the cold. Finally there it was in the distance; Tower Bridge all but obscured by sheets of rain. With a laugh and a nod Lil and Lol looked at each other smiled, ducked down into the nearest tube entrance and dripping wet headed to their next adventure, Piccadilly Circus.
