I wonder if these two youngsters are related haha! I caught this young kangaroo yesterday afternoon having a chomp on the native bushes around Pinnaroo Reserve, he was a little shy and I'm sure he thought if he couldn't see me then vice versa. Sorry mate you were just too cute to resist! Midway point in the working week already, hope you have a good day, take care.....
Oh, how adorable!! I would love to be able to see one of these cuties just running around having fun -- not in a cage at a zoo!! Hope your week is going well!!

How cute! he seems so friendly, and your post is very funny!

So cute. The only wildlife in the city here is squirrels and raccoons!

Because we don't have roos here - I can't even imagine the thrill of seeing one in the wild! I love seeing them in the zoo...but this is awesome!
ReplyDeleteHow cute! I - and most French kids my generation - grew up watching that cute TV show, with Skippy the Kangoroo. I can still whistle the tune :0) Glad to see Skippy is alive and well in his native Australia. Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)

These are both wonderful.
ReplyDeleteThe first time I saw kangaroos in the wild I thought I was hallucinating. Our family drove from Sydney to the Blue Mountains on a day trip, stopping at the Jenolan caves on the way back. We still were not over our jet lag. You're getting into the back country on that last stretch. A group of kangaroos went bouncing across the road in front of my tired eyes and I thought I was having an out of body experience. It's probably an everyday occurrence for you.
ReplyDeleteoutstanding! incredible pictures, I really like them.
ReplyDeleteGood shooting.
ReplyDeleteHe does look playful but I wouldn't get too close.
ReplyDeleteMasters of camouflage ... Beautiful captures Grace.
