As a follow on from yesterdays post, heading into the city our destination was Kings Park where I took the pictures of the ferocious looking dinosaurs and the wee willy wagtail. I love the view from the top of Kings Park looking over the tops of the Swan Brewery which has been revamped into The Old Brewery to the city and the Narrows Bridge that bypasses the CBD and crosses over the Swan River to South Perth below. It's not the actual bridge itself that causes me all the tension, it's the numerous lane choices before you actually get onto it, and even though they're very clearly marked, by this stage I'm a little blinded by panic.. Arrrrrgh! my computer is on a go slow, it's driving me insane, and yeh I know that's not a stretch haha! I hope your week has started well, have a fab Tuesday.....

Some fantastic views you got there! Well worth the trip.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots as a reward Grace!
ReplyDeleteWow, wonderful views, Grace!!
ReplyDeleteClass view, this skyline, huge...!
ReplyDeleteYou live really close to paradise!
Best wishes
CL
WOW! I am seriously impressed with these pics Grace! Terrific cityscapes!
ReplyDeleteWhen we see those wonderful skylines, hard to believe you can be stressed living and driving there..The place seems so beautiful and peaceful (from far..)
ReplyDeleteI do not think you are crazy, Grace...just delightfully frank! This is a great photo, but I also understand your tension at the lane choices! I hate having too many choices...I like things pretty straightforward and simple!
ReplyDeleteFabulous views!
ReplyDeleteThese pictures are incredibly clear.
ReplyDeletesuperbe panorama et quel ciel
ReplyDeleteNice shots!!! Hard to show that sense of panorama as you do here. Do you groom and maintain your computer?
ReplyDeleteGoogle 'Glary Utilities Free'
for a tool I use every day!
Have a GREAT Week

Some freeway lane choices are mind boggling at times especially the down here where the Tullamarine Freeway meets the Calder Freeway if you blink or sneeze you'll miss your turn off :-).
ReplyDeleteThese photos are beautiful! They are so crisp and clear.
ReplyDeleteWow, these are gorgeous shots!!
ReplyDeleteAs if from another world.
ReplyDeletePlease have a good Tuesday.
Oh my goodness, these are! gorgeous! I'd be so blinded by the beauty it might (almost) make me get over my highway phobia (yes, the lane changes, plus merging with fast traffic, are what get me!)
ReplyDeleteWe shall have to start a collection for your driving therapy. Such a beautiful city deserves a drive-about from time to time. I learned to drive in the suburbs of NYC and went straight into it as soon as possible. Maybe it's easier for boys.
ReplyDeleteWe are both showing off the views of Perth from Kings Park! Except my shots were taken a few years ago. Heavy rain today - good idea to stay in, certainly no driving on the freeway for me.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great view. Nice shot.
ReplyDeleteThe first photo is a 'sell Perth to the world' shot. Kings Park must be quite special.
ReplyDeleteFabulous shots of Perth Grace. You really do sell this city well! Have a fab Tuesday also and after this morning's rain nice that the sun is at least peeping through my window right now!
ReplyDeleteJ'aime ces vues dégagées! Paysages urbains, et pourtant tellement ouverts!
ReplyDeleteBlue sky, that's more like it!
ReplyDeleteA magnificent view! The spread of water softens the cramp and bustle of the city!
ReplyDeleteBoth shots are wonderful Grace. Great clarity and detail. Love the way the gum frames the top image. Great composition.
ReplyDeleteIt´s a beautiful part of our city. If I don´t have my gps with, I get lost a lot of times not being in the right lane...the Mt Lawley turnoff baffles me all the time.
ReplyDeleteBoth views are fantastic! Great shots, Grace.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful views. Hope your computer speeds up. That is maddening!
ReplyDeletelove the last photo .. what a great view ..
ReplyDeleteWhen I say 'It's driving me insane..." Most of my friends remind me 'that'll be a short trip'. hahahaha
ReplyDeleteYou are very talented with your camera, these pictures are magnificent!
ReplyDeleteBravo!
Léia
Beautifully composed shot. Very nice indeed.
ReplyDeleteEven in winter Perth looks inviting, nice shots Grace...
ReplyDeleteGreen grass and a river of Glass, Rainburst on the hill recounts the fleeting winter chill. Mill of white, reflecting the light, The "Wagyl" is quiet today.
ReplyDeleteOnly in Perth can the sky be that blue, even through the midwinter cloud.
Reflections of old and a new addition to the skyline positioned perfectly to host a burning summer sunset.
Magical frames of a city I will always be mesmerised by. I miss you.
Thank you for the moment.
