We had a brief respite from the searing weather last week and had a few days of very welcome and refreshing rain..which made it 100% more pleasant for Aimee and I when we were doing our early evening walk down the coast road....Back to 35C tomorrow, but you know what, I'm not going to complain, well not now I'm not..it could be a very different story after three or four days of it haha! Hope your week has started well and continues that way.....!!

ReplyDeleteOh, I feel exactly the same way when we get a break from the rain and gray and cold!! Like the past few days! It's so gorgeous and comfortable! I love your friend there, Grace, and he does seem to be asking the question!! Hope you get another break from the heat soon -- you can always send some to Seattle!!

You are steaming, Europe is freezing, the northeast US is snow-free . . . what is going on? Go ask that gull . . .
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a pleasant and warm day! We had +10˚C today but it is to be really cold tomorrow and then warm up again - strange winter for us!
ReplyDeleteGreat shot! This guys are funny.
ReplyDeleteSmashing! Luck, quickness & talent!

Ditto about the rain, Grace, we were also refreshed at the weekend!
ReplyDeleteGreat capture of that cheeky gull (or should I say "rat with wings"?)
I love it when these critters look right at you when you photographing them! Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous light, and that swooping curved line really draws the eye. This is one to enter in a competition.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun capture. One day down and I hope the week flies by.
ReplyDeletebeautiful composition!
ReplyDeleteNice and cool down here for the rest of the week until the hot weather your having now snakes its way down here in a few days :-).
ReplyDeleteGreat spot for an evening walk Grace. Hope that your week goes well also.
ReplyDeleteNice composition. I wish I could join you walking up that road.
ReplyDeleteMy french gull is sending a hug to your australian gull! :o)
ReplyDelete-10° this morning, I wouldn't swap your 35 for my weather... Yes, I know, I'm bonkers.
ReplyDelete:-)
Yo! What a great picture! Well done you!
ReplyDeleteIn Italy it's very cold and it's snowing.
ReplyDeleteWish you a fresh day. Nice shot, dear Grace. I never remember your name, ahaha.... A kiss from Italy.

Great. Composition and repitition. I think I shall call the seagull Matahari. Yes Matahari that suits her.
ReplyDeleteA lovely capture and pattern of the railings. My Manchester week so far? Snow and ice gave way to fog which is now briliant sunshine.

Very nice shot! Gulls seem to be the easiest to photograph - pretty uninterested in us humans! The pattern of the railings is very appealing. We have had an unseasonably mild winter here on the east coast of the US - at least here in Virginia - for which I am very thankful! I love the sunshine and the warm weather. Maybe the ideal life would be 6 months in the US during the spring/summer, then 6 months in Australia...hmmm. Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pic
ReplyDeleteLove this shot. The composition is perfect. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful composition!
ReplyDeleteThe dilemma is often how close to get to an animal, which might fly or run away before the snapping the perfect photo. Fortunately, digital photography allows multiple choices as you approach.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a postcard, Grace! Love how you caught that moment!
ReplyDeleteow! tis beautiful Grace. ^-^
ReplyDeletei hope the weather stays fair there.

I love that expression, it may just mean that...
ReplyDeleteWe are still around -1°C, could we split your 35°C?
Wonderful composition with that fence leading the eye right around the corner...and the gull does have a certain look in its eye. Hope you didn't have any food on your camera!
ReplyDeleteNice photo!
