The
pink and grey Galah may well be a common and widespread sight across Australia, but caught in the right setting, with evening light and yes perhaps just a wee bit of 'enhancement', I think they can look anything but common.....This was taken one evening while walking with Aimee, there they were on the side of the road partaking in an evening meal of grass seeds!! Happy Thursday.....
Double wow! What a great photo! Love the colors...

ReplyDeleteWell, she did mention that the photo had been tweaked, and I'd say this was done in an artistic way, not because Perth requires help to be be beautiful. Perth is a gorgeous place! Each to their own opinion, but its interesting that you chose to stay anonymous with this comment....

ReplyDeleteLovely shot and post processing, Grace. They are in a patch of "bunny grass" The seedheads are like bunny snouts and when we were kids we used to wet the head with spit and watch the bunny seemingly twitch his nose and whiskers!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, almost mythical-looking!
ReplyDeleteWow, what a cool, surreal photo, Grace. Like something from the Wizard of Oz:-)
