Puppy Love..

I looove this one, just look at that face💙 On the way home from breakfast on Sunday we stopped in Yokine to find the lovable pooch here on the side wall of the new Aldi building in the Dog Swamp Shopping Centre. Part of the re-brand of the shopping centre this and ducky just around the corner were created by Kingman Visual. If you were curious re the name, it was originally named ' Native Dog Swamp' by the English, referring to the dingoes or native dogs who would have used the waterhole for drinking purposes.. nowadays it is a bird sanctuary, not a dingo in sight :) Happy Tuesday, take care and stay safe...  P.s. thanks so much for all the lovely birthday wishes for Aimee yesterday..

  1. What a beauty Grace. Love the doggie, but the duck is also quite colourful.
I've driven past that shopping centre a few times and always wondered about the strange name, now I know!

  5. The colors are superb. That dog reminds me a lot of our late Golden Retriever, Haley. She was the sweetest dog in the world!

  14. That is just gorgeous Grace. Co-incidentally my daughter sent me a very similar picture recently and was thinking of creating one from a photograph of her dog. I would love to give it a go and surprise her with it but if mine fails perhaps I should give Kingman Visual a call.

  18. Both are very beautiful, Grace. Still weird to see good ole ALDI in your place. I must´ve been around 5 or 7 when the first ALDI came to our little town.
It was rather shabby and very different from yours. Still, btw! Much simpler.

  19. I once saw a pig that got mixed up with some paint tins - it looked similarly innocent and equally colourful!
