Developed in the 1890's the riverside suburb of Maylands is home to some of the most beautiful old cottages in Perth. Complete with white picket fences, low stone walls, decorative fretwork and lush gardens they are charming to behold. Thank heavens for people with the 💙 time and money to buy and bring these aged beauties, some in an unimaginable state of disrepair, back to their former glory. Taken yesterday on a cool(ish) cloudy day, #lovethosecloudydays. Happy Tuesday, take care and stay safe..
They are lovely!
ReplyDeleteWhat pretty places. They remind me so much of some of our historic neighborhoods. It's wonderful when people have the resources to bring places like this back to their former glory or better.

oh I love old historical architecture! It's good to see them well looked after on the outside, hopefully they have been restored tastefully on the inside.
