A flurry of swirls and bubbles as the Fringe World mermaids rise to the surface and shower the excited children squealing with delight with their wet hair. Such fun! Always one of the more popular Fringe World events it was impossible to get close this year, check last shot! The advertising for the show states 'perfect for little dreamers and the young at heart' .. well I'd say that pretty much covers most of us right :) Happy Tuesday, take care and stay safe...
A very popular event Grace. I can imagine the kids delight at getting wet.
ReplyDeleteMethinks you Perthians party all the time! :) Seriously, looks like great fun and reminds me of Disney World here in Florida. The long lines especially remind me of Disney World.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous event! Arianna
ReplyDeleteIncredible event, and mermaids are such a delight, and this last summer I finally met a real live man mermaid! You might have seen his photo on my blog earlier this year!
ReplyDelete...I love a mermaid!

ReplyDeleteJ'ai l'impression que Perth est une ville très dynamique et pleine de surprises :)
ReplyDeleteSome people have the strangest jobs! A friend of mine who was a marine biologist got a job at Seaworld during university holidays. It sounded quite impressive till you learned that she dressed up as Sammy The Seal!
ReplyDeleteThat first shot is striking!
ReplyDeleteFun event for all ages that’s for sure!
ReplyDeleteHow fun! I'm sure my granddaughter would love this.
ReplyDeleteHow fun! I bet the little kids were loving this and the big kids were enjoying it too.
ReplyDeleteCool! I saw some "mermaids" like this when I was a kid. I never forgot it!
ReplyDeleteWA certainly has no shortage of exotic creatures.
ReplyDeleteAwesome pics
ReplyDeleteI see you are having fun with mermaids, but it all seems a little fishy to me.
ReplyDeleteYes, they are a lot of fun, Grace!
ReplyDeleteMy Nieces were not at all surprised that Ingo talked to mermaids, cause... mermaids certainly are real :-)
I've never seen anything like it, I'm sure my daughter would've loved it when she was younger.
ReplyDeleteWow, that is special, have never seen a mermaid in my life!
ReplyDeleteCertainly makes for a photo op! I remember you posting something about mermaids in the past?
