One of the coolest places right in the heart of the city to sit and enjoy the summer breezes is in Central Park, the gardens that surround the Central Park building. Now, in summer under the canopy formed by the magnificent tall trees and in winter when they are stark and naked letting in the winter sunshine. Perth is having it's mildest summer in 25 years (check out yesterdays weather report). The first summer in 16 years without a 40C day! Hallelujah, I'm not complaining :) Happy Friday, take care and stay safe..
Those trees certainly do cast lovely shade!
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful a space, G!
ReplyDelete...same here!
ReplyDeleteSo Lush And Inviting.
ReplyDeleteCheers
I have favorite places like this as well, and what a perfect day it is for you!
ReplyDeleteIt's probably not as big as Central Park in New York City, but it looks beautiful and if it can help with cool breezes on hot days, it will have served its purpose perfectly! Beautiful photo of this gorgeous place!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a lovely spot! Warm....I miss warm! We got 30cm of snow over night ack!
ReplyDeleteThe pics makes me dream of summer! And your temps sound so nice, Grace!
ReplyDeleteI just wish I could find a warm spot other than in front of the fire!! Keep cool. LOL Diane
ReplyDeleteLooks a very pleasent place to be
ReplyDeleteThat a lovely looking area to sit for a bit. The weather sounds so good, not to extreme in the heat department. :)
ReplyDeleteI am glad to hear you are not scorching again this year. What do yoi suppose the global warming deniers would make of it?
ReplyDeleteOh yes, that looks very refreshing indeed. Glad to hear you are having a mild summer. I'm hoping for the same when ours rolls around but I'm not holding my breath.
ReplyDeleteA temperature of 35 C can be really hot. Glad you have been having a mild summer. We have been having a colder winter than usual. Your photos look warm.
ReplyDeleteI think I would enjoy a Perth Summer.
ReplyDeleteIn our local park with similar trees, I think the temperature can be five degrees cooler.
ReplyDeleteLove the cool of this green canopy Grace. One of the best places to be on a hot summers day is in the shade of a big tree on a lush green lawn with a picnic.
ReplyDeleteUm lugar bem verde e refrescante.
ReplyDeleteUm abraço e bom fim-de-semana.

Beautiful post. Greetings
ReplyDeleteThank you, Grace. That really makes it so much easier and nicer to have to look at all the naked trees and indeed, the sun is shining today, too.
ReplyDeleteCrazy weather in your place!
Nice picture Grace.
ReplyDeleteI had noticed that this summer has been a lot cooler.
Those trees are magnificent, Grace. They're so tall and they've been beautifully pruned. This looks like a gorgeous and inviting park.
ReplyDeleteSo Cool!!!
ReplyDeleteIn Japan, really cool and cold... X( ... :)

ReplyDeleteIt's winter here, but you would never know it.
