Fringe World 2018.. A pirate's tale.

In the city two pirates bold
Their (plastic) swords they did hold
Swashbuckling began in earnest
The whereabouts of the treasure to learnest :)

A young maiden walking by
Captured the pirate's eye
 The battle it was over..

Words bein' mightier than th' sword
Discussion with th' crew did follow
To find that spot marked 'X'
So in the treasure they could wallow!

I never said I was a poet but bless me hearty I do try :) In the city yesterday checking out some Fringe World fun.. lots of free goings on for the kids, like the live action treasure hunt here. So much more to see over the next week. Happy Sunday ye landlubbers, take care and stay safe.. P.s. big catch up today..

  14. Your poem was good! Out here, there would be a mock western gunfight in the street instead.
