Monochromatic magic..

In South Perth a few weeks ago to take a few shots of this fabulous black and white with a touch of grey mural by Perth based artist and illustrator Sarah McCloskey aka sarsar on the wall of Hopscotch Bar on Angelo Street. I'm almost sure the last time I spotted it when passing through there was a bench in front of the mural, bottom right, with the mural spilling over onto the back, gone.. but I was pretty pleased with the blue bike centre stage for a wee bit of colour on a cloudy day :) Happy Tuesday, take care and stay safe...

  4. The lady in the mural appears to be looking rather disapprovingly at the parked bicycle, while the dog appears to be reading the sign. Or maybe it's just me.....

  5. That is a terrific mural. Well spotted and photographed. I also like the bicycle there. No, I was not thinking of getting a tattoo. Ink is for pens, brushes, and printers, not for under the skin. But then I'm am old geezer who was never attracted to tattoos.

  6. Dogs don't often get a gig in murals. Good to see.

  7. This is quite beautiful. I'm wondering if there's some symbolism or connection between wolves and women?

  12. This is beautifully done. Though the bike is a nice pop of color the mural doesn't suffer as a monochrome. As a dog lover I'm glad to see the pup as costar.

  13. Oh, Grace, I thought you photoshopped this one!
Different, but still beautiful and I have to say the bike just makes the scene!
