In Bassendean a few days ago, in desperate need of coffee we stopped in at Holly Raye's. Double bonus, the aforementioned excellent cuppa and this beauty by renowned Fremantle artist Anya Brock who's style you may recognize from the many times her work has appeared here. The mural a portrait of the cafe owner's much loved dog Angus...
Most cafes these days are dog friendly with bowls of water at the ready.. Holly Raye's added that extra special touch to their thirsty pooch spot.. too cute! Happy Tuesday, take care and stay safe...
Great take on the dog, very colourful!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cutie. I love the colours Anya uses.
ReplyDeleteAlways a big fan of dogs!! But I Love The Mlle Rouge Cruiser!!

...such sad eyes.
ReplyDeleteAwww...I think Angus needs a pat on the head or maybe even a hug. What a cutie. I'm noticing more and more bowls of water out in different places for our four legged family members.
ReplyDeleteAngus is a cutie and I love him. I always see bowls of water out for the doggies to quench their thirst. It's the right thing to do because dogs are nice and they deserve it. :)
ReplyDeleteangus is great, and you noticed the dog bar too :) very nice! EW
ReplyDeleteA nice tribute to Angus! I see lots of bowls of water outside shops here too!
ReplyDeleteGreat mural. I'm willing to bet Angus was to his owner much like my rottie Sable to me.
ReplyDeleteI think I would love this canine lover's place. I'd even go out of my way to get a cup of coffee there. It is a fine mural made even better by the water bowl.
ReplyDeletePooches aren't welcome here like they are there, PDP. Love the watering spot!

ReplyDeleteWell done mural! My dog would very much approve. He would happily greet any arriving coffee lovers. And would love to meet Angus, too.

A very well painted mural of her dog. And the waterplace is so cute!
ReplyDeleteColourful ! A well done mural, Grace !
ReplyDeleteWonderful to feature a canine mural. I do think that Wild Wendy should be immortalised with a mural also.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful mural of a proud looking dog! I love what they did with the water area.
ReplyDeleteI really like that and I love the wire dog next to the water bowl, something quite different. Cheers Diane
