What fun on a dull day! Last weekend city workers, families and tourists were enjoying a stroll through a giant kaleidoscope parked in Elizabeth Quay. Couldn't resist a quick shot of the cute young couple above taking selfies from all angles :) Just one of the many events popping up during Spring in the City. Looks like its going to be a rainy weekend here in Perth.. here's hoping! Happy weekend, take care and stay safe...
That makes for an irresistible photo subject! Wow!
ReplyDeleteI've always loved kaleidoscopes and can't imagine being actually in one, Grace! How cool!
ReplyDeleteNo Way!! There was an artist in Crested Butte Colorado that built these amazing hand held kaleidoscopes done in all different varieties of hard woods. The craftsmanship was incredible for sure. BUT nothing like a human walk through. That "city" would have been a time lapse dream!! Thanx so much for sharing & enjoy your weekend
ReplyDeleteCheers
I cannot imagine such a thing. I've never seen a kaleidoscope other than a hand-held one and that was years ago. You have so many fun things going on. Don't let a little rain get you down! Better than a hurricane!
ReplyDelete...now that's neat!
ReplyDeleteHow Marvelous, Grace!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun walk through and great for a photo. Hope your weekend is a good one despite the weather. Diane
ReplyDeleteThat looks like great fun and the possibilities with a camera quite endless.
ReplyDeleteVery cool, I would love to see something like this and photograph it. The possibilities are endless.
ReplyDeleteSuch a unique celebration of spring! Love it.
ReplyDeleteThat would be very interesting to see. Gee Grace, it looks like it will be a rainy week end here also.
ReplyDeleteLoved the post and clicks.
ReplyDeleteHappy Weekend.
THAT is seriously cool! What fun to look at! My trusty camera and I would find this irresistible. And is that a selfie of you in the first shot, to the right of the cute young couple?
ReplyDeleteThis is so cool. I hope you don't mine I use these photos. I want to ask in social media "If this kaleidoscope came to your town would you go and see it? I know I would...What a trip.
ReplyDeleteCoffee is on
How great to have fun with light. Must have been interesting to have been there.

Perth really rocks, so much on offer all time! Thanks, Grace, for always sharing! Happy weekend and enjoy the rain :-)
ReplyDeletecool photo opportunity ;) ew
ReplyDeleteHow fun Grace! It's going to be rainy here this weekend too, but it's because there is a hurricane churning in the Gulf of Mexico and it's racing toward the coast. Hopefully most of the bad weather will be west of me!
ReplyDeleteWow, I would LOVE this.
ReplyDeleteI am always impressed with the amount of public art in Perth. This would be fun.
ReplyDeleteI would enjoy to pass through this kaleidoscope.
ReplyDeleteHopefully most of the bad weather will be west of me!
