A charming Frenchman and his macarons will always attract the attention of the ladies.. I was likewise attracted :) Taken while buying un délicieux gâteau from Maison St. Honore in the city.. No need to say more :) TGIF have a good one, take care and stay safe...

I find some macarons way too sweet so I will try a pastry, Grace!
ReplyDeleteThe range of edible goodies in your city is astounding. I dunno about charming Frenchman - that must be a bonus for the ladies. I don't think I've ever had a mararoon. I'm guessing it's different than macaroni. Oui ?
ReplyDeleteI'll have one of each flavour. Maybe two.
ReplyDeleteI have never seen a real Frenchman like him: a bit stereotypical, I would say...
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a great place, I hope his charms didn't entice you to buy too many....
ReplyDeleteThose macaroons looks look delicious, and they are beautifully displayed. BTW, Happy Belated Birthday. I just learned that your birthday was on Monday. Hope it was great.
ReplyDeleteDid you swoon when you heard his accent? The macaroons are very colourful.
ReplyDeleteOK I would have probably bought the whole stack of macarons. I just cannot resist them!
ReplyDeleteI could swear I've walked by this place in Paris.
ReplyDeleteThe B&W is very effective with that striped dress.
Enjoy the gateau over the weekend Grace.
ReplyDeleteThanks for creating informative blog .
ReplyDeleteRather daftly this reminds me of some Motown singer with three girls forming that essential backing group. I probably need some gateau!
ReplyDeleteMmm - so delicious!
ReplyDeleteBy golly, those colors, Grace!! LOL...
ReplyDeleteOh, the dress and sign... better than a cookie, and I love macaroons.
ReplyDeleteThose macaroons look fantastic. I do love a good macaroon.
ReplyDeleteMacaroons...now I'm hungry!
ReplyDeleteMacarons? Anytime! Good that I live where they are made....
ReplyDelete'Charming...?' I bet he worked for Vichy...
ReplyDeleteMy own eye is drawn to the color of the macaron pyramid, but I guess that is explained by my XY chromosomes. Your black and white photograph is excellent . . . the wide striped play off the cursive writing on the blackboard.
ReplyDeleteNice B&W.
ReplyDeleteColourful display in this shop. And the Frenchman's colourful presence is a bonus.
ReplyDeleteI sprained my ankle ten days ago so those high heels are making my foot ache. ;))
ReplyDeleteThe colours on those macaroons are amazing - I imagine they were just as yummy! I also really like the monochrome of the second picture, it really captures the eye.
