Constructed in glass and mirror Brookfield Place has to be the best spot in town for taking reflection shots. Above looking into Basilica can you tell what's real and what's reflection? Bit of a clue, the man sitting at the bar to the right is not a reflection but a poster. The shot below just because I like it, hipsters are alive and flourishing in Perth :) What are you up to this weekend? I'm having the laziest weekend I can get away with, after the past two garden/house-painting weekends I think I deserve it! Take care and stay safe..
Great first shot, Grace - very clever! hope you get your well-deserved chill-out weekend!
ReplyDeleteTerrific reflections for the day , Grace, as always!! I do hope you have a great AND RESTFUL weekend!! Enjoy and yes, do chill-out!!
ReplyDeleteAll I know for sure is that young lady looks good in tight jeans!
ReplyDeleteNothing like a weekend with nothing on the books. Softball games are planned for here.
ReplyDeleteThat is quite a reflection shot. When I saw the word, "Basilica," I started looking for a church! I don't have a clue as to what is real and what's reflected. I like the 2nd shot, too...very hippy place!
ReplyDeleteIt is Thanksgiving here this weekend so I will be having 2 big dinners - one on Sun & one on Monday which is the true Thanksgiving day. I may be sick of pumpkin pie by Tuesday!!
ReplyDeleteI love your reflection shots!
ReplyDeleteNice cafe, but I really must say, that's ONE mighty fine pair of jeans, just walking away.
ReplyDeleteNot quite the basilica I was thinking of. I got a laugh out of Birdman's comment!
ReplyDeleteYes it is difficult to separate the reflections from the real thing.
ReplyDeleteA lazy weekend? Really?!
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely relaxing weekend, great reflections...
ReplyDeleteWas just reflecting on how GOOOOOOD you are!

ReplyDeleteI love reflections. Have a good weekend Diane
ReplyDeleteNice relaxed street views, have a nice weekend.
ReplyDeleteNice reflections Grace. Enjoy your quiet weekend. We hadn't planned on a quiet one, but we haven't done anything we had planned ...yet!
ReplyDeleteLove the first pic, Grace! Oh, but the hipsters, I´m too old for that ;-)
ReplyDeleteThen have a nice, lazy one, we plan to go to the kite festival tomorrow.
Elegant places, neat reflections!
ReplyDeleteTwo fun photos Grace. I have to really study that first one to see what is a reflection and what isn't.
ReplyDeleteThe reflections are magical and how well-paced is the poster - adding a little surrealism to the mood. Love the last photo of street life.
ReplyDeleteYou have captured the vibrancy of the street so well!
ReplyDeleteYou visit some of the most fun places of any bloggers I know!
