Sunday bubble & squeak!

A slice of architecture, mixed with a daub of art, a dash of weird/happy, a cup of coffee followed by something sweet and lovely.. bubble & squeak.. leftovers! Do you sometimes go through your shots and think hmmm! why didn't this one make the cut? Didn't get much time yesterday, so here's hoping these offerings don't give you indigestion :) The embellishments atop the old and new above highlight the age difference. Take a seat on Oxford St. Leederville. Cemented in, those chairs aren't going anywhere, you may remember the mural across the road here..

Johnny Pascual aka Monkeybizzness 'traveling the world in a monkey suit to bring smiles and spread positive happiness'. In this world of 'bad things happening' this can only be a good thing, furthermore I see that he uses the same camera as moi, excellent! The guy to the left looks pretty determined not to smile.. that made me smile :)

First rate coffee in FOAM. I once thought about doing a barista course, not sure if I could cope with a queue impatiently waiting for their first fix of the day, oh la! the pressure :)

Looking down James St. in Northbridge from the Cultural Centre on a crisp spring day...

Aimee taking shots that could be the very ones you will see on Daily Details..

... and here the sweet and lovely ingredient of my bubble & squeak. My granddaughter, the last time they were over from Sydney, getting comfy and watching telly with granddad :) Hope that you're having a super weekend, I can't decide today whether to clean the house, go hiking with Aimee and P or go to the Beaufort Street Art Market, what are you up to? Enjoy, take care and stay safe...

  13. An interesting mish-mash of scenes, Grace. The young one looks as if she is sailing in a dream in her own magical world. So adorable. And love the perspective and contrast of building styles in the first photo.

  21. I hope you Aimee and P went for a walk and that you had time for a look around the market too.
We have been out for a long walk with our dog, and I don`t have more excuses for not tidy the house NOW.....

  22. Great pics, Grace!
No city can mix old and new that good.
    Love the monkey!
The FOAM-pic could´ve very well be taken in the 50´s as well! What black-and-white changes is amazing! That and the fact there is no technical stuff to see.
Brrr, looks cold in Northbridge. We´re down to 15C :-(
Ohhh, time so runs, didn´t you just post pics of a tiny baby?!
Off now to see the macro-shots!
