We often talk about the transient life of street art.. classic example here, not so much gone as obstructed! Sandwiched between the wall of a skate ramp and one of those scary new loos that give you a certain amount of time to 'get things done' before the door slides open revealing all :) While in Leederville last week we stopped by the Skate Park, which in typical skate park style is covered in street art. You might notice I haven't signed the top shot, that's because I didn't take it, I passed my camera up to a very helpful young skater who hung over the rail to take the above shot for me, merci beaucoup. Hope I'm not too late for Monday mural! Happy Wednesday, take care and stay safe...p.s. would be fab if all sharks looked so friendly :)

What kind of loo?! That's as bad or worse than the loo maids in Europe. :-)
ReplyDeleteLovely shark mural. I agree, wish all sharks looked as friendly...
ReplyDeleteI do love these big, colorful murals!! Be easy to spot a loo like this when you need one!! Hope your week is going well, Grace!!
ReplyDeleteThe mural gives the park the proper vibe, Grace! I think of you every time I see a shark attack on TV!
ReplyDeleteMignon et colore ;o)
ReplyDeleteHa Grace, I'm sure you've now found a shark that you actually like!
ReplyDeleteI always like to see graffiti when visiting cities.
ReplyDeleteGroetjes,
Filip
Nice looking shark. Kind of sweet.
ReplyDeleteA loo with a timer?
ReplyDeleteVery dynamic art!
Fun picture!
ReplyDeleteLove the pictures and the graffiti....not sure about those loos though..

Nice mural Grace. Where is your courage to hang over the edge?
ReplyDeleteGreat mural! (A timed loo - what the .....?!!)
ReplyDeleteNot too late at all Grace! I love it. Glad you were able to get some help with that first shot.
ReplyDeleteToo bad that it is not more visible because it is colorful and a happy image.
ReplyDeleteColorful murals!
ReplyDeleteGee ... wasn't that nice of the skater to take that photograph for you. The best type of shark ... static on a wall.
ReplyDeleteThis is a nice and friendly shark, not very scary... also decorated with pink flowers :)
ReplyDeleteVery nice murals, wish the artists came over to our place to decorate some walls here.
ReplyDeleteHilarious! I'm smilin'.
ReplyDeleteGreat mural but, I have to say that is a very scary loo you've described.
ReplyDeleteIt does look like a friendly shark. Hey, is that a trick?
ReplyDeleteOh, Grace :-) So sweet of you to give the young boy credit!
ReplyDeleteTrue, the shark looks quite friendly - but what is that about the loos?! OMG! Seriously?! Am I lucky I´m rather a quick guy!
A most colorful delight!
ReplyDeleteA blaze of color!
ReplyDeleteGreat vibrant colours, the shark is just wonderful.
ReplyDeleteRight. Real sharks are not nearly as cute and approachable. BTW, you're never too late for the meme. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
ReplyDeleteNice! I think. Ah, but you need to explain more about the "scary new loos." I don't like what I've heard to far! :)
