Blood Moon Modified!

O...M...G! My jungle garden is trying to kill me! Here I am back after three days of weeding, chopping back, fertilizing, checking reticulation.. in other words getting ready for summer, I can honestly say I'm knackered :) but triumphant! Did you see the Blood Moon? I was lucky enough to get a super clear view of it hanging low in the sky over my back garden on Monday night, not so lucky to get a clear shot but have had a wee bit of fun interpreting it my way. Looking forward to seeing what you've been up to today, happy Wednesday, take care and stay safe...

Here today we have that traditional Autumn's weather. I'm home today because I got a cold, but it's normal.

  5. I missed the blood moon here but have seen plenty of photos of it on line. I caught the last one so I don't feel too bad about it. Sounds like you've had your work cut out for you in your garden. I bet it looks great now.

  6. You remind me of my own garden tending just a few months ago. It will keep, go slow, and enjoy! I did see it, here in Minnesota it was in clear view. My daughter in Alabama wasn't so lucky, they had heavy cloud cover. We'd tried texting photos but our smart phones weren't very smart. But an old neighbor of hers not far from us sent her one from taken by a real camera! I love how so many folks dropped everything all over the globe to take part in this! Very cool.

  8. Heard stories about the moon, but I was happily counting sheep about the time all the excitement hit. :-)

  11. We got clouds moving in just as it was heading to total eclipse, but a parting of the clouds gave us a brief glimpse of the full blood moon.

  15. I missed the moon too, but like your interpretation Grace. I know the feeling, weeds just take over our gardens, they seem to grow better than anything else...

  16. I'm envious. It was such a good time here, mid-evening, but we had complete cloud cover.

  17. It was 5am, fast asleep, Sparky woke up, let him out & saw the moon, no clothes on & couldn't find camera - went back to bed!! Sounds like you could do with a massage. Take care out there.
