Yeah yeah yeah :) Can you believe it! I talked my sister into coming to the Beaufort Street Art Markets with me on Sunday and as always for moi, a coffee is essential on arriving anywhere! We sat across from the market behind the big bold Beaufort St. sign chatting unaware that ... time was running out, dramatic huh :) To make matters worse because we strolled up the street to find yesterdays mural by the time we got to the market it was overs! Hadn't checked the closing time, 1pm.. gah! The good thing is I still managed to buy something faaabulous, show you tomorrow.. wearing it! Happy Tuesday, take care and stay safe... p.s. it was 24C yesterday, below, office workers in the city enjoying Central Park gardens during lunch, not too shabby!
Looks very lovely and sunny day (we have a lot raining now).
ReplyDeleteIt's always nice to walk in market even nothing shopping.
I like the architecture of the building in the second shot.
ReplyDeleteAh, lovely day indeed!! Thanks for sharing the fun, as always!! Looking forward to tomorrows pics!!!
ReplyDeleteAt least you had a nice visit with your sister, Grace! It is 30˚C here and going up to 32˚C with a humidex of 40˚C so not very comfortable outside even though it is a holiday for Labour Day.
ReplyDeleteSure is a beautiful place. Would love some 24C WX here. Temperatures have been in the mid 30s C here with RH close to 90%. Took Mrs to the beach earlier today.
ReplyDeleteIt looks and sounds like you had a good time--and that's the important thing!
ReplyDeleteIt's only been comfortable today in the shade. Could have turned down the sunlight just a tad. :-)
ReplyDeleteWell I'm glad you managed to find something to buy anyway Grace! Looks like you had a wonderful day.
ReplyDeleteWEARING your treasure, eh? Consider me curious!

Let me guess. The market is in a car park and the car park is needed for shopping customers in the afternoon. Forecast 20 degrees for us on Friday, the first since winter began.
ReplyDeleteAh time flies when you're having coffee and chatting, look forward to tomorrow...
ReplyDeleteYou can take me anytime Grace. And is it ok if I don't have coffee? :-)
ReplyDeleteMarkets are always fun. I wonder what you bought...
ReplyDeleteIsn't that embarrassing? I would be just as happy sitting with the coffee.
ReplyDeleteWell, get your priorities straight. What's more important, coffee with your sister in a pleasant setting or getting more stuff?
ReplyDeleteAh! not to worry Grace .... you can't beat coffee and chat. I hear you're going to be sending some of that sunshine east!!
ReplyDeleteSo, when are you coming to Berlin so we can do the coffee tour? ;-)
ReplyDeleteAnother point added to my 2016-list, Grace :-)
ReplyDeleteCan´t wait to see what you bought. 14C over here...
The weather seems to improve at your place. And that talking with each other, well sometimes that is more important than visiting a market :)
ReplyDeleteSounds like you were just having a really good time
ReplyDeleteYou know...I'm a bit envious here, because I only have one sister and she lives in Brazil. So...you can imagine how much I would appreciate a day with her , shopping, talking, walking around...I miss her so much!
ReplyDeleteYou are lucky! ;)
Love your pictures and I"m curious about your shopping!

Love those street art shows...wonder why it closed up so early. But you had a good time anyway!
ReplyDeleteThat 2nd shot is beautiful...such a wonderful park. Love the architecture of the building in the distance.
As long as you enjoyed yourself, that's all that matters.
ReplyDeleteJust about everything, even a city, looks so fresh in spring!
ReplyDeleteThe church catches my eye!
ReplyDeleteHa! Ha! I figured out what your treasure is ...and this park, goodness I'd spend as many lunches there as possible too. It's beautiful there.
