Happy New Year....!

I'm a little bit late posting today.. I've just come in and it is officially 2014 here in the land of Oz! The theme for January in the CDP group is 'photo of the year'.. the shot above is one of my favourites for two reasons, firstly I like the multi cultural feel here in Forrest Place in the centre of the city and secondly although there are many people there is an air of absolute isolation surrounding the main subject.. and hey, even if I say so myself that's quite an acceptable little poem :) It was a tussle with the shot below because even though we are looking up through London Court a very Olde English style area, it has an exotic eastern feel to it n'est pas? I'm looking forward to getting back to normal (?) tomorrow and catching up with everyone, so for now I wish you all the best, have a fabulous and safe New Year... 15. FANTASTIC! Two great choices. I am jealous that you have learned to save a spot of color and turn the rest to B&W. And, the composition and light in the second photo are wonderful.

Yes, I have had health problems. A Lung Carcinoma.
    He's localized and not extended.
I treated a few months ago.
I am in the final stage and now just need to know how it goes.
I'm trying to give people Forces with the same disease and never give you and keep for later.
Thanks for your interest and for visiting my space!
I had wanted to talk to you again.
Beautiful image and words, as always.
I love Australia and today I watched on TV the celebration of New year in New Zealand and, of course, in this wonderful country, Australia.
