Spotted while walking along the coast road.. A TARDIS gate, how super cool is that! As long time Dr. Who fans both Aimee and I really enjoyed that the owners of this large house obviously have a sense of fun and whimsy and blow the neighbours :) Keep your eyes open for something quirky on your travels today, I'm always on the lookout! Happy Wednesday, take care.....
I love it! Both the gate itself and the super images:) Obviously, this person's got a sense of quirk and humor - makes a walk about the neighborhood feel much homier!
ReplyDeleteNICE!!!!! Love that first shot. Dr. Who is pretty epic Grace:)
ReplyDeleteThat is super cool! Love the addition of the artistic top shot, Grace.
ReplyDeleteThe weather you describe is just too much. Watched a little of the tennis today...unbelievable. Stay cool :).
Terrific, Grace!! Love the Dr. Who gate!! Hope you week is going well!! Have fun -- camera in hand, of course!!
ReplyDeleteThis makes a great landmark!
ReplyDeleteAm off with camera in hand to walk in the sunshine today, but I doubt I can top this find :)
Your TARDIS image is perfect. Always loved Dr. Who. I'm just waiting for him to show up in SD.
ReplyDeleteGreat!! I 'm a fan too! I found a small Tardis in London, so now I have one home! :o)
ReplyDeleteThis one is perfect!
Do you remember Tom Baker Grace?
ReplyDeleteI wish I had a Tardis gate somewhere!
How cool is that.
ReplyDeleteHaha! Love it :-)
ReplyDeleteBelated Happy New Year Grace!
I love what you did to the photo. It looks spooky. TOH is a fan of Dr Who but I could never get into it. I'll keep a look out for something quirky today.
ReplyDeleteThey must be huge fans, Grace!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant, and nice work with the camera, or photo editing tools.
ReplyDeleteOh wow, that is simply fabulous. You never know what fun things you are going to find when you look around!
ReplyDeleteTo add to always looking for something quirky -- always have your camera with you and a model release (at least releases are required in the States in many situations) one never knows what or who there will be to photograph.
ReplyDeleteNeat photo Grace. It looks centuries ahead of its time.
Oh, that's fun!
ReplyDeleteI had no idea what a Tardis gate is, so I googled it and the image that was second was someone else in Perth's photo of this same building!
ReplyDeleteLove this shot. I've never watched Dr. Who, I hear it's a good show.
ReplyDeleteThanks!

Love it! Around here we are supplied with large blue bins for re-cycling. One of these has also been painted up to look like the Tardis.
ReplyDeleteIt is getting dark so early in the afternoon.... but I´ll be eager to find something quirky..... ( I like the word quirky, sounds better and more fun to say)
ReplyDeleteI love their sense of humour Grace. Perhaps the wanted to scare off any random Daleks. Chuckle.
ReplyDeleteOh, that`s great !!
ReplyDeleteVery creative way to capture it !
ReplyDeleteShame on me because I really don't know the series but I like a lot your pictures!
ReplyDeleteLéia
I must admit I have never seen Dr Who, lack of education?:)
ReplyDeleteGood spot!
ReplyDeleteCool shot, Grace.
ReplyDeleteA fantastic image Grace!
ReplyDeleteSuper find! The person who lives there must have a great sense of humour!
ReplyDeleteThe top shot is so cool!
ReplyDeleteDr. Who really is Dr. Who for me.... was never popular (for my generation at least) - have never seen it! But the pic is cool!
ReplyDeleteMy son is a big Dr. Who fan as well--I'll have to show him your post!
ReplyDeleteThat is simply amazing!
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry about the fires. I did not know that. Ironically, we get pretty isolated from the rest of the world in this country. Most of our politicians and media get all excited about taking away the social safety nets and a woman's right to choose when it comes to abortion and teaching creationism in our schools, among other things, so we don't know what's going on around the world.
