How would you like to wear your pyjamas to work every day! I arrived at the shops early yesterday and as I waited it was fun to watch the girls who work in the Peter Alexander shop arrive for work in their p.j's, Aimee's idea of the perfect work wear! In 2012 Peter Alexander, Australia's king of sleepwear celebrated 25 successful years and if you check out his catalog.. you might even have ordered something online.. you'll under stand why he's 'so good in bed' :) and yes I am a fan! An avid supporter of the RSPCA the 'adoorable' decor below is modeled on his beloved sausage dog Penny who is now in doggy heaven, too cute! Lovely and cool today, when I say cool I mean 28C.. it's all relative right! Happy Tuesday, take care and stay safe.....

Lots of cute stuff on their website! I think you would also like the company Lazy One. I have lots of their PJs. :)
ReplyDeleteSounds like a good idea to me.
ReplyDeleteOoh...I'm going to pass the link on to Oz family. Thanks for the tip! Glad it is cooler for you. Been watching the tennis in Melbourne...way too hot! Heat must have come from Perth. Keep cool :). PS Got to love that décor. Wonderful organization!!
ReplyDeleteWell, it's certainly more comfortable to dress that way!
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine going out and about in PJs, Grace!
ReplyDeleteI of course love that adoorable decor, not to mention the idea of sleepwear to work! None of my sleepwear look this cute, though - might have to peruse some of the goods:) Stay cool, wish we could share some of our recent cold with you!
ReplyDeleteLike to wear PJ's at home , but not outside! Love the door knobs!
ReplyDeleteThat's a classy looking shop. If I watched the ladies arriving I would probably be called a dirty old man.
ReplyDeleteJust went and had a look and now I want http://www.peteralexander.com.au/shop/en/peteralexander/women/pyjama-shorts/beachball-short
ReplyDeleteArggh. That's your fault.
:-)
Haven´t noticed the door, Grace! Need to learn to see the details, you teach me for sure, thank you... Oh, wow, that´s quite a "drop" in temps!!! Ha, my PJ sure looks different right now! Can´t wait for spring!
ReplyDeleteI do wear mine to work...but "work" is on my couch!
ReplyDeleteBest view so far........
ReplyDeleteWell let's hope that the girls of walmart don't start wearing their sleep ware into the store.
ReplyDeleteWhat a job!
ReplyDeleteThe door handles are cute.
ReplyDeleteNice composition on that first shot.
ReplyDeleteThe top photo -- girl entering the shop in frilly sleepwear -- is so much fun, Grace.

What relaxing work wear!
ReplyDeleteLove the doorknob. And I've been working from home this past week, mostly in my pj's. I feel such a rebel.
ReplyDeleteHard to believe his label has been around for 25 years Grace. I remember when they first became popular.
ReplyDeleteI much prefer what looks like his "style" compared to Victoria's Secret!!!
ReplyDeleteFirst off, love the doorknob!
ReplyDeleteI would love to work in my PJ's. I must admit that since I retired, I've spent several days without ever changing out of my PJ's.
Nice images. Loved the sausage dog. Hope the cool weather prevailed for the whole day !
ReplyDeleteA magical door handle, hope your gardenias survive, I have planted some too.
ReplyDeleteI used to wear PJs to work. Of course, I was telecommuting from home at the time... luckily for my co-workers.
ReplyDeleteThis one store I would not hesitate to let my wife take me shopping there with her. :)
ReplyDeleteoh la la! J'adore! En effet, je fais beaucoup de grasses matinées pendant l'hiver! ;)
ReplyDeleteLéia
That would save worrying about what to wear to work.
ReplyDeleteJo00hhh ... 'Pajamas' ... The great thing about ...
ReplyDeleteNicely wrote - well you described ...
We could be a little light wear - pajamas ...
Freezing temperatures higher than -20 degrees and a hard cold wind.
We are required to wear warm hats, and warm over anyway ...

Can't open the link, but can imagine how it must look to work there. Going to work in your pyamas, priceless!
ReplyDeleteIt certainly beats a suit and heels, that's for sure. How fun!
ReplyDeletehee hee...
ReplyDelete«Louis» had a dachshund when he was in high school, Oscar, as in Oscar Meyer Weiner. The dog loved doughnuts and beer!
I LOVE the door handle.
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful!
