It's always fun to meet fellow bloggers and at the end of November we had the pleasure of catching up with Iris and Ingo from Germany. Although they love Perth and have been a few times before, this visit was extra special as they had arranged to get married while here, tres romantique oui! We caught up with them for a last coffee in the city the day before they left as Iris was really keen to see 'The Unknown Photographer', any excuse to take shots looking down St. George's Terrace :). There were a few bureaucratic technicalities that had to be sorted re the wedding certificate but it was all good in the end! I think I may have frightened them just a wee bit with my driving, but to be fair they are used to driving on the 'wrong' side of the road, sorry guys :) Hope you're having a good weekend, keeping warm in the NH and cool in the Southern.. take care.....

ReplyDeleteOh, yes! It is fun meeting fellow bloggers!!! I've had several visit me in Seattle and it was fun indeed!! Love your pics as always! So colorful! Hope your weekend is going well! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteexcellente photo ! j'adore!
ReplyDeleteLove meeting fellow bloggers!!! Initially...when I started blogging...it was to have someplace to share my burgeoning love of photography...but as time has passed, what keeps me coming back is all my "virtual" friends from around the world. I love seeing into their lives...realizing how similar we all are. We're heading to Scotland in November and I fully intend to connect with a blogger or two!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat?????????
ReplyDeleteMale asking for directions?
Well, it's a new year!
I never met any fellow bloggers yet, you were lucky.
ReplyDeleteThis is great! and you are right it is always fun to meet fellow bloggers.
ReplyDeleteYou have provided them with a couple of delightful memory-jerkers! Great fun!
ReplyDeleteSounds like great fun, Grace. It is like spring here today, 0˚C after 2 days of -20˚C!
ReplyDeleteA humorous scene. It shows navigation? The place is interesting to and I like it.
ReplyDeleteMany greetings to you.
Great how the unknown photographer is at a crossroads near lights. I wonder how many people love getting their photograph taken with this guy - and maybe not just tourists.
ReplyDeleteLove meeting up with other bloggers. Strange I have driven on the left all my life in UK, Rhodesia, South Africa and Ozz, now driving on the right seems much more natural since we have lived in France!!
ReplyDeleteThat is a fun photo. I love the sculpture. I remember seeing lots of interesting ones in Perth but not that one.It is interesting meeting fellow bloggers, especially those from far away.
ReplyDeleteNice story and fun photo, Iris sure loves red!
ReplyDeleteThat's a great pose with the sculpture.
ReplyDeleteVery cute. Is this really a statue of a kid looking at his cell phone?
ReplyDeleteI think the young man/statue is holding an iPad mini.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun shot!
ReplyDeleteFunny statue and funny photo.
ReplyDeleteHi, This is my first time here. You have a nice interesting blog here. Meeting fellow bloggers sure is fun. Have a Great week end. Best Wishes Ram
ReplyDeleteThat's so cool!
ReplyDeleteSometimes, I think we should have a convention. Writers have writers conventions. Bloggers are writers....
Excellent ! ^^
ReplyDeleteAnother fun story and photo, great!
ReplyDeleteFunny people think we´re "asking" for directions, huh? Still heaps of thanks, Grace, for leading us there and especially for helping with the postille! We even need no German document, no more money to be spent.
ReplyDeleteI sadly still haven´t found a place here to make your painting ready for hanging up...
That's fantastic! Congratulations to them!
ReplyDeleteI've yet to meet a fellow blogger face to face. I still feel like I know a lot of them...
Congratulations to both of them!
ReplyDeleteI also feel like I've gotten to know quite a few bloggers this way, even not seeing them face to face.
