After a very frustrating evening with 'Whoops, that's an error' I decided to pack it in and start fresh today..so far so good.. A very early walk in Pinnaroo Valley Memorial Park yesterday morning helped to balance the equilibrium.. early morning is definitely the best time to take shots of the kangaroos the light is magic! So many little joeys hopping about.. mum checking me out above and bub below.....
Save me mum, so cute.....!
If I stick my head in your pouch she won't see me :)
The joeys are seriously cute though don't you think.. but like everything, they get less cute as they grow up :) I know some of you have been having a few problems with blogger also, I guess we're lucky that it doesn't happen too often... should I have said that, did I just hex us all :) We are expecting a scorcher of a weekend (43C) but after hearing of the horrendous weather conditions being experienced in the NH I have no grounds for complaint.. I hope all is well and that some semblance of normality (?) returns very soon, take care and stay safe.....
soooo sweet.....wonderful pictures.
ReplyDeleteLovely photo's Grace
ReplyDeletegreetings,Joop
I love these kangaroo photos, especially the first one!
ReplyDeleteAwww, the roos are so cute!
ReplyDeleteThe joeys are adorable...but I like the adult kangaroos, too.
ReplyDeleteThese are all beautiful shots!
Oh, I do love the joeys!! And what terrific captures, Grace!! How fun to be able to see them like this on a walk, I would love to do that!! Our weather isn't violent like it is in so many places, it's just grim and gray and chilly here so I shouldn't whine about it as I frequently do!! Hope you have a wonderful weekend!! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteCan't imagine these fuzzy creatures bouncing around the neighborhood!
ReplyDeleteI've had some of the same Blogger problems. Blogger must be "fixing" things again! Ugh!
That first one's a real portrait. Hey, I'm still cute!
ReplyDeleteIn these pictures they are ALL adorable, young and old!
ReplyDeleteYoung animals are a real treat to see, Grace! I'm thinking of pre-posting for a few days just in case things get worse.
ReplyDeleteAmazing animals they are. That first snap is a good one.
ReplyDeleteIt is so cute they walk in the park so close by. The first photo is so funny and the hiding one is also so sweet.
ReplyDeleteYou have the funniest eye. Aloha♥
ReplyDeleteEver so cute!
ReplyDeleteThose joeys are so DARN ADORABLE! Lovely light too. Stay safe in the weather (seems everyone's having a spell of bad weather!) And glad to hear I wasn't the only one having blogger problems!
ReplyDeleteLooooove your captions! So cute!
ReplyDeleteThank you Grace! These are so wonderful! It is always lovely to see these guys.
ReplyDeleteThe top photo shows the facial beauty of the animals. What is the origin of the name "joey?"
ReplyDeletehallo Grace, this is really very sweet ! I like them very much ! ciao
ReplyDeleteThey remind me of whitetail deer, probably move as fast and jump fences. Kind of glad we don't have any, no more fence jumpers needed.
ReplyDeleteAww they are so cute
ReplyDeleteI understand, though, that they can be quite ferocious when threatened. Is that so?
ReplyDeleteDON'T do that! I jumped at that first picture! Tsk!
ReplyDeleteI must concentrate more. As I was clicking through links, I wondered why this kangaroo is saying good morning to me. They are cute as joeys, but best observed from a distance when they are older.
ReplyDeleteLove these shots :)
ReplyDeleteIt's one thing for us to see photos of kangaroos and quite another to confront them. On our only visit to Oz, 21 years ago, we rented a car in Sydney. The plan was to visit the Blue Mountains and Jenolan Caves. When we turned onto the rural road to the caves I was boggled by the first kangaroo crossing sign. Then there was a family of them beside the road keeping pace with our car. Toto, I thought, we are not in Kansas anymore.
ReplyDeleteSo cute! Take a leaf out of there book for tomorrow - just hang around & flop in a cool spot!
ReplyDeleteYou can never go wrong with a kangaroo shot!
ReplyDeleteYour first "portrait" is seriously adorable. See? You have to get in close.
ReplyDeleteThat first shot is adorable.
ReplyDeleteThey have such limpid eyes.
ReplyDeleteLovely !!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos!
ReplyDeleteI've not experienced any recent problems with blogger though
Awwwwwww !
ReplyDeleteNice kangarro shots. Looks like you met the entire family. Question: Why are "kangaroo" courts so called ?
ReplyDeleteYikes that first shot was very close. Lovely animals until they decide they don't like you.
ReplyDeleteThat morning light is fantastic. Great shots even got catch lights in her eyes. I got that message for the first time today. I hope it doesn't continue.
ReplyDeleteI love when the joeys jump into their mother's pouch!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it awful this terrible weather all over the world! Stay cool this weekend Grace!
43 does sound rather warm! The Joeys are sooo cute, and I agree that the light is great.
ReplyDeleteGreat! The top shot is a winner. How cute!
ReplyDeleteDo stay cool, Grace.
I'm glad you said something about Blogger. I thought it was just me. It has been acting rather sluggish lately. I love the "roo" photos. They are adorable.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I'm seeing error messages on Blogger...
DeleteNice model(s).
ReplyDeleteI have liked them since my childhood..... long time ago when I saw Skippy on TV:)
Awww, Grace, that sure is peace- and beautiful! 3 weeks were not enough, would´ve loved to see it! That sure is a place you like to come backto think of your loved ones...
ReplyDeleteS cute, morning...! :-)
ReplyDeleteSooooooooooooooo cute ! I love them! I want one! :o)
ReplyDeleteThey are adorable!
ReplyDeleteIt's warming up here in Virginia, thank goodness.
