Plooop!..... gone the next.....!
This little joey in the pouch must not have liked what he saw (surely I couldn't have looked that bad) and disappeared hastily back indoors :) The link above is one of the last in a series of short videos describing how the joey develops from birth right up to this cheeky wee face popping out to see the big wide world! I know I've shown the kangaroos a few times before but who could resist this peaceful family scene? Taken in Pinnaroo Valley Memorial Park, this one is for your house guest FC hope she enjoys. Here's hoping that you're ready to face the week ahead, not sure I am.. take care and stay safe.....
Oh, I do love your little joey!! Hope you have a great week!! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteAw....! How sweet and really nice photos too!! I am not at all ready to face the week. Oh dear!
ReplyDeleteThat's about as sweet as it gets! Would love to see these things in person. I mean, not in a zoo. Guess I'll just have to point my way to Perth!
ReplyDeleteI often want to crawl back to bet on the weekends too.
ReplyDelete... make that 'bed'.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots, Grace. I always enjoy seeing your 'roos!
ReplyDeleteHow cute is that. I have my own little joey. - oh wait that's something else entirely.
ReplyDeleteSympathetic and excellent image of this animal to which I have much affection.
ReplyDeleteHugs and kisses.
I don't blame him for retreating to the comfort of his mother's pouch after a glimpse of the outside world.
ReplyDeleteWhat a Delight from OZ!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Dear

Gorgeous photos Grace, I raised an eastern grey joey many years ago, found in its dead mothers pouch (road kill) great experience and had a happy ending too!
ReplyDeleteWhat a moving entry. Yes, can't even remember the last five years seeing our son grow.
ReplyDeletePlease have a good new week ahead.
I always enjoy seeing your photos of the kangaroos!
ReplyDeleteI don't know, but it looks like an awkward weight to be carrying around!
ReplyDeleteI can never get enough of these kangaroo shots! Love it! And it could never be you, that little guy was feeling a bit camera shy, like all children sometimes do, yes?:)
