With temperatures in Perth still warm and humid our beaches and marinas win as the most popular destination for Perthites and visitors looking to cool off. There are so many really good places to eat at
Sorrento Quay something to suit all tastes and budgets! I took the shot above yesterday around lunchtime when
Bellafonte Ristorante & Pizzeria was humming with folk appreciating the cooler sea breezes and when I returned later in the evening, below, it was even busier.. diners enjoying the balmy weather. I took the shot below with my new OM-D Olympus without a tripod, am quite happy with it, although obviously a tripod would have been ideal, next time. I'm loving this camera but will definitely have to invest in a long lens as soon as the budget allows :) Happy Thursday, two more sleeps till the weekend, nice! Take care and stay safe.....
Looks like a delightful place to enjoy a meal! Love your night shot!! So colorful! Great to have a new camera isn't it? Hope you sleep well and have a beautiful tomorrow! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteYes please:-)
ReplyDeleteI want to beam myself right into these photos! The night shot is terrific! Nice to see the new toy at work (play:) and I love that - two sleeps before the weekend!
ReplyDeleteOhhh...looks like you and your Olympus are going to make a mighty fine team!!!

regards from İstanbul
Always ready for a pizza! :o)
ReplyDeleteVery welcoming place!
Looks like a nice place and I love that second shot! Very well done with your camera hand-held!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like my kind of place Grace! Pizza and a cold beer by the sea - priceless.
ReplyDeletewe kunnen zo beginnen.
ReplyDeletePizza? Always! Fortunately, Italy is quite close...
ReplyDeleteA little thing you might want to know... You can actually use lenses made for analog cameras (aka non-digital) on digital cameras. And there is a big plus with it. See, I use an old 75-300 Minolta zoom on my digital Sony camera, and the focal length is multiplied by 1,5. With means that my 75-300 lens actually becomes a 112,5-450mm lens on a digital camera. So it might be worth looking for something like this, as it is much cheaper (usually, anyway), and the quality can be great.
I would say the place sparkles in the evening. I
ReplyDeletelove the shots...and yeah a good pizza sounds excellent :D
ReplyDeleteAwww, now I not only crave for warmer weather, but for a Pizza, too. And for a sight like that for real, esp the second one, great, great pic! Many greetings from Wednesday night, 9:15, Grace!
ReplyDeleteBy golly. Hope that Pizza-dream from the other night doesn´t come back tomorrow morning at 04:50! ;-)
Please, let the waiter see me at 04:10!
All your photos are great no matter what camera you seem to be using! Enjoying using your new camera. Shots are super!
ReplyDeletelovely ... and pizza is my favorite food
ReplyDeletePizza is great anytime, anywhere, but by the sea is probably the best place. Good luck with your new camera. I looked it up on dpreview and it sounds like a great camera. My first digital was an Olympus and my wife has two Olympus film cameras, which she still keeps for sentimental reasons.
ReplyDeleteNow that's a striking building!
ReplyDeleteAnd pizza is indeed a personal favourite.
I can't believe how big it is. You camera takes super night shots.
ReplyDeleteThese are both fabulous, Grace. It is a lot different from the dive where I get pizza when I am in Hartford.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe that second photo was without a tripod! That is some steady shooting! Sounds like you got yourself a great new toy!
ReplyDeleteA very welcome place!I love your second composition with the lights! As an Italian descendant, for me pizza is always a good idea! ;)
ReplyDeletehugs
Léia
That's a pretty clear shot sans tripod Grace. Order me a cappriciosa when your there next.
ReplyDeleteAn extensive outdoor dining area! The outside is colourful by day but magical by night!
ReplyDeleteI especially like the night view Grace - it's a lovely spot. And I love Italian food too! By the way, how's your knee?
ReplyDeleteYes please .... I love pizza! It looks welcoming with those big red bold umbrellas .... very European.
ReplyDeleteLooks like an interesting camera, I will have to read up on it. Glad to see that people are out and about.
ReplyDeleteLooks a nice place to eat on a balmy evening in Perth. Glad you are enjoying your camera.
ReplyDeleteYour new camera is taking great photos!
ReplyDeleteI'm always for pizza!
ReplyDeleteI love pizza--and outdoor dining is always fun!
ReplyDeleteCount me in! I love pizza of all kinds, and this looks like a lovely place to have some.
