Described as a 'bohemian hangout' Greens & Co on Oxford Street in Leederville is such a great spot to sit, drink good coffee, try NOT to eat divine cake (successfully yesterday hurray!) and people watch! Along with the cafes and restaurants on Oxford St. there are also some really groovy shops, one I always like to check out is Atlas Divine, lots of quirky gear there! Greens & Co is where we usually have coffee after the camera market, remember the 'hanging balls'! This month's CDP theme is 'people watching, to see more images from around the world click here.....

Nice take on the theme day. I have around 300 candids to choose from!
ReplyDeleteJa, es macht Freude andere zu beobachten, vor allem draußen...
ReplyDeleteLieben Gruß

These are terrific captures, Grace!! I love to people watch -- and even more with a camera these days! Hope you have a beautiful weekend! Enjoy -- camera in hand, of course!
ReplyDeleteI like your theme here. It's funny but Australian people look a lot like other people from the other continents. How cool!!:) Hehe:) Love coffee shops. Best places to watch the locals. Have a great weekend. Love these days....so much fun snapping pics everywhere!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a great place to hang out! Good shot for the day.
ReplyDeleteThat really is a great spot for it. Love both photos and your new banner shot is fantastic!
ReplyDeleteIs this Bruce Willis???
ReplyDeleteYou're as sneaky as I are! No wonder I like you.
ReplyDeleteExcellent! I'm totally ashamed of mine...
ReplyDeleteWell done Grace! Those are the kind of shots I like!
ReplyDeleteOoh, very lovely - great people watching and theme day shot! (And since I live in the 90s and do not have Facebook, I didn't even know the theme day - time to get on FB, methinks!) I liked your other Green & Co shots, though I fear they'll be forever erasing various 'ck'-s from their sign :)
ReplyDelete(On 2nd glance, the little golden statue really does look like a buddha statue! And perhaps one of your favourite films begins with Remains of...? I love that movie :))
cafes are such wonderful places to people watch...
ReplyDeleteMy sort of place! Love to meet you there once. . . Good on you for not rearing to quickly snap people in public!
ReplyDeleteWeekend Aloha from Honolulu

The man looks like he is really concentrating on the passing scene; must enjoy people watching!!
ReplyDeleteGreat second picture indeed ! Feels as if watching a society in peace with itself.
ReplyDeletePlease have a good new month ahead.
daily athens photo
people watching at its most frenetic
ReplyDeleteThe view out the window seems to show it is a pedestrian friendly area.
ReplyDeleteI can imagine you are sitting sipping a cafe creme watching the world go by ... nothing better!
ReplyDeleteAnother place I haven't been to in ages! Must try & get out more!
ReplyDeleteWhen I was in California last weekend, I spent about 3 hours at this Fabulous shopping center called Fashion Island and I got myself and large iced tea and I sat and watched people. It was so entertaining. The best part was all the kids enjoying a wonderful koi pond with lots of stepping stones. Sometimes people watching can be all the entertainment you need.
ReplyDeleteGreat contribution to the theme day. The sun on the outside looks very bright.
ReplyDeleteJ'aime ces photos de ville, très différentes de nos vues habituelles. Bon week-end, Gracie!
ReplyDelete"Street photographie" at its best!
ReplyDeleteGreat street shots! I have never done this, but you are so good at it! I am not a people watcher, really - DH is - but I am more of a "thing" watcher!
ReplyDeleteGreat places where to watch people pass by...
ReplyDelete"I have my eye on you."
ReplyDeleteOh, people watching! One of my favourite things!! Although the unkind call it 'nosiness'!!!
ReplyDeleteThose are nice shots! I would not be able to resist the cake though.
ReplyDeleteThis is truely a great shot. Interesting to see all the actions and people in the frame.
ReplyDeleteYou love this place! Very envious you have shown us Leederville a few times and it looks v cool! Like your new Perth by day header. Happy Theme Day Grace from the Far East.
