It's one of those things that because it's high up, can be seen from all around the marina, even from my cafe of choice on the other side of the boardwalk below, merde! Still I mustn't become a 'grumpy old woman' oops! too late haha! it keeps youngsters amused and out of trouble and that can only be a good thing, but I wonder if the owners of the very expensive houses along the coast road that you can see behind the new 'attraction' feel quite so benevolent, would you! Can it really be Friday already, where did the week go? Have a good one, take care and stay safe.....

I know that when critters have a lot of space, like Australia, they tend to grow big, but this one is one heck of a chameleon!
ReplyDeleteThe word cameleon, in French, is an never-ending source of jokes, by the way.
I wouldn't mind looking out at it!
ReplyDeleteIf the kids like it, the grown-ups should get used to it. After all, some people did not like the Eiffel Tower at first, and now, well, I read that you love all things French.
ReplyDeleteGreat post and funny as well! I like it!
ReplyDeleteIt really is rather disconcerting to see so high up! Makes you wonder sometimes what people were thinking! But, I guess if it provides entertainment for the kiddies...have a good weekend!
ReplyDeleteThat's a nice colorful chameleon:) But I think what's disturbing is that it looks rather cold there and it appears that people are in the water on that second pic:)
ReplyDeleteNew attractions aren't necessarily new attractive attractions! Maybe it won't prove popular and they'll take it down, fingers crossed.
ReplyDeleteLet's just say it definitely lacks that certain - je ne sais quoi -
ReplyDeleteHow happy colours !
ReplyDeleteLike it.
Please have a good Friday.
It's a great looking chameleon, though I admit it looks rather out of place there! On the other hand, it'd would've looked great in an amusement park - I guess context is everything :) Hope it was a great Friday!
ReplyDeleteWell, it is colorful and funny and that makes me smile! I'm sure the kids love it! Great captures for the day, Grace!! Hope you have a great weekend!!
ReplyDeleteI certainly wouldn't want it in my backyard! Yikes!
ReplyDeleteI like your first photo where it almost looks like it is in the branches of the trees slightly camouflaged.
ReplyDeleteGreat attraction to have but with so much land around wouldn't you have thought they could have put it somewhere away from anywhere residential?
ReplyDeleteIf it brings in more customers, it will stay and become an object of civic pride. If it discourages customers from visiting, it will go. Money talks.
ReplyDeleteCe caméléon géant et joyeux réjouira tous les daltoniens :-)
ReplyDeleteJackson the chameleon gets around!
ReplyDeleteAloha from Honolulu

Oh Grace I think they great galah is quite cute!
ReplyDeleteI want that big lizard for work!
ReplyDeleteMême si on les critique, ces parcs d'attraction ont toujours un aspect fascinant. Dans notre subconscient, ils nous ramènent à notre enfance.
ReplyDeleteBonne journée, Gracie!
This colorful beast can be seen from everywhere! great attractive point!
ReplyDeletei love stuff like this .. i suppose anyone who sees it from their windows would have to smile ..
ReplyDeleteIt is quite ugly, but I am sure it will get the attention!
ReplyDeleteSuch a cool chameleon!
ReplyDeleteFrench jokes... It's all about Leon, a first name, and came, which means high, full of drugs. Nothing very good.
ReplyDeleteAnd I thought Disney World was bad...ugh!
ReplyDeleteI think he's kinda cute. :)
