Well I can tell you I didn't take this picture yesterday, the weather was cool (relatively speaking) but most of all it was blustery and wet. I did take it at the weekend though, just a matter of four days ago, in the city..the sun was shining, a day for wearing a long, lacy skirt and strolling down the Hay Street Mall, buying flowers and drinking coffee with friends..good times! I hope the sun shines today in your part of the world, even if for just a short while, take care and stay safe.....
I laughed out loud at the Hot Pants! I remember those from the seventies! Glad your weather is improving. Soon you will be wearing hot pants too! :)

Amazing how quickly and often the weather can change, regardless of what part of the world we live in!! A great shot for a beautiful spring day! It's feeling more and more like fall here in Seattle, but it is beginning to get colorful!! And, yes, you too, take care and stay safe!!
ReplyDeleteUnser Wetter wird auch immer schlechter, windig und leichter Regen, keine Möglichkeit für Fotos...
ReplyDeleteLieben Gruß

Spring colours! It was sunny this morning but is now cloudy here - we are due for sun the next 5 days though!!
ReplyDeleteInteresting lacy skirt! Nice and sunny here...pleasant temps still. Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteLove that lacy skirt! Our temperatures have finally come down into the 90's (35C) so it's not too bad right now. Nice enough to take a stroll with friends. That sounds like a great idea.
ReplyDeletethat is quite the assortment of fashion!
ReplyDeleteIt's lovely when you can start to wear summery clothes again. Sun came out here for about an hour - otherwise, more rain!
ReplyDeleteOh my!!! Like the color going on....and there are oh so many styles to choose from:) I am counting the days until break to get out and just watch people and find critters. One more week to go! Hope you had a great Wednesday and good start to your Thursday:)
ReplyDeleteThink warm thoughts.

ReplyDeleteGorgeous and lovely here today, but even so, I can guarantee you'll never see those fashions on Powell River streets! :D
ReplyDeleteLooks fresh and pretty!:)
ReplyDeleteYou occasionally see young ladies dressed like that in winter here. Crazy or what?
ReplyDeleteA good moment and a great catch!
ReplyDeleteHa! Hot-pants now that takes me back a long way ... I remember one of my daughters had a fetish for Hot-Pants all I had to do was make them!!
ReplyDeleteLovely if you can get away with it, a great people post Grace!
ReplyDeleteWhich one was you.....?
ReplyDeleteI was in Adelaide last week, very very windy and quite cold and I saw a young lady wearing white shorts and sandals! I had to look twice to make sure I was seeing right as I was wearing jeans, but had only taken a light jacket with me and was freezing!
ReplyDeleteA lovely bright shot!
ReplyDeleteI think they are ready for warmer weather,
ReplyDeletemay i say first that its raining here .. UGH .. next i dont 'get' the proportions of short shorts and cropped jackets (or any jacket) looks to moi as if you've got on a kid sister's clothes .. and these long lacy or sheer skirts over leggings or shorter skirts or shorts .. another i dont get it .. i think i am now officially old
ReplyDeleteFantastic photograph, a superb view. I am greeting

ReplyDeletehope you will have sun and warmth soon and be able to either wear or show us some more hot-pants or maybe both ?
ReplyDeleteCool group of trendy ladies.
ReplyDeleteI could never carry off the look myself, but it's so great to see folks who can! Terrific street style capture, Grace!!
ReplyDeleteJust HAD to read a post with a name like this! Now that I've seen it, I just wish I had the chutzpah to wear either - or maybe even both - items of clothing!!!
ReplyDeleteYou're moving into summer soon enough.
ReplyDeleteThis side of the world, winter's coming... after much delay!
