ReplyDeleteI have pirate writer's block! ;-)
ReplyDeleteAy, Matey! tis a fine tale you tell! About all I can do is hope you don't shiver me timbers -- I'm shivery enough as it is!
ReplyDeletecool "you are there" shot! I mean, "ARGH!" One year we've been ashore from our boat. where does the time fly??!!
ReplyDeleteThe shot you asked about was New York in the 30's or 40's I believe.
my uncle (by marriage)Louis Clyde Stoumen (1917–1991) was a film director, and also a famous photog. His shots of NY City at night, Times Square, and other places like Puerto Rico are wonderful! He came from no where via his photos and words. He would have been an awesome blogger.

ReplyDeleteOh, nice pic too - bwah haha.
I am the landluberry-est landlubber ever, but I love it love it! I want to get time off work so I can learn pirate talk, haha! Wonderful shot of that fearsome-looking cannon, a true beauty :)
ReplyDeleteSoon will be cold 'nough over here to have many a grog. There are many hours when I play with our son and his pirate ship. Wonderful entry. Please have a good Wednesday ahead.

ReplyDelete(That's about as much pirate speak as I can muster) :)
I don't know how pirates talk, so I am trying to learn some words!
ReplyDeleteBein' a poirate is about much more than talkin' the talk... you gotta walk the walkin' plank and dress the part or ye'll niver foind the treasure!

ReplyDeleteLook at that parafrenalia! Well spotted, Grace.
